MotoGP » Yamaha confirm Valentino Rossi’s return

@Mark, where have you been? Rossi is already considered by many not just by his fans as the GOAT but by many professionals in the sport. the poster who said Rossi built the bike Yamaha, not quiet, but for the doubters ou there and post much dribble, I suggest you go and read the interview with Furusawa from 2 years ago when he retired, just read it carefully, it clearly states by him not by us fans but by him that me & Rossi developed the M1 together, without out each other we could not have done it. Don't take my word for it go and read it for your self. Rossi is the GOAT!

MotoGP » Yamaha confirm Valentino Rossi’s return

A couple of laps to warm up the tyres and then he will be making his way through the field. If he has the speed & I don't doubt that for 1 minute he will be up front. I think he is going to be like a man possessed, he has a point to prove and if he still has the speed there is going to be some shock's. On the other hand if he does not have the speed then some of us are going to be disappointed. Can't wait for the first test at end of season as that will confirm alot for us. Good luck Vale.

MotoGP » Yamaha confirm Valentino Rossi’s return

@ stepanik, Well said mate. The thing is do you lot on here that does not agree with Rossi going back to Yamaha, do you think Yamaha or rossi gives a damn about what me or you thinks, erm no! Now one thing is for sure we are going to see a lot of overtaking next year, we all know why don't we? I will answer that for those who don't know and have not been watching carefully over the past 10 years, Rossi is not the best qualifier, he is also a fairly poor starter so to see him mid pack at the beginning even on a Yamaha will be normal. cont..

Great news, Rossi back on the M1 his M1. Well I think that Rossi will be competitive, within a race or 2, I can't see it taking him any longer than about 1-2 test's before he is back up to the top. As many have said plenty of times in the past, you suddenly don't forget how to ride a bike. Many of corse don't want rossi to be succesful but for me this is great to hear, I don't expect Vale to whip everyone like he did before especially Lorenzo, Dani has had it easy whilst Rossi has been on this lame duck, he will have his nose pushed out abit next year in terms of podiums as Rossi will be taking them. It will be interesting what Marques does next year. Good luck next year Rossi.

MotoGP » Date set for Rossi to Yamaha announcement?

HJC, fair point about this year, yes Hayden is 2 points in front of Rossi so please accept my apologies about that point. for last year though as facts are fact's Rossi finished ahead of Hayden so he was not out performed at least on race day by his team mate was he? I don't expect to get agreements as many that post on here are anti Rossi & dont like things his supporters have to say. All i would add is we are all entitled to our own opinion and we beleive in what we write. for those that support Casey great, he has proved to be a good talent, same goes for lorenzo too. If it's true about rossi re signing for Yamaha then let's see what happens then, i think one thing is for sure we are all surely excited about him being on a competetive bike again.

HJC, erm, i think you had better go and check back the results of last year, then get back to us with why you think Hayden has out performed Rossi in 2011, so far in 2012 Rossi has finished in front of Hayden more times. Don't muck about trying to justify qualifying either because Rossi has never been a super duper qualifier. There are many on here that will not like the news that Rossi is moving back to his M1, it wont take long to re a quaint himself with the M1, they have hardly changed it since he left as it was such a good chassis. As for the comment regarding Rossi can not develop a bike, my a$$, I'm a big beleiver in it is a 2 way thing, you need a good machine & a good man to get the best out of it. There is no doubt that rossi has not done with the Ducati what we all expected, but hey we are not privy to what that bike is like, I can not beleive for 1 minute that if the bike was capable then Rossi would have extracted that out of the bike, the fact is the bike is simpl

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi talks tenth place start

I hope he does not re sign for them ducati, they really are useless, I'm staggered Hayden has re signed, even he is complaining about the distance to the front now. Listening to lot's of things I'm picking up I would be amazed if rossi stays at Ducati. There is 2 options 1, and this must be the best, re sign with Yamaha works team, this I believe has been discussed with all parties concerned & I think it's a done deal. 2, if it's not a done deal there is a place still available at satellite Honda team, now that is not bad as Rossi will be on a competitive bike. We have to wait another 3-4 weeks I think before we all know for sure where Rossi is going, one thing for sure is he has 2 offers on the table.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi, Marlboro and Yamaha

This is no rumor, Lorenzos crew chief has been interviewed about the possibility of Rossi returning. He has stated that they are discussing it, the discussions are taking place with Yamaha boss together with Lin Jarvis & they have even included Lorenzo. So in my opinion there is no question this is gossip, no B S the only stipulation is that rossi comes back as No 2 rider, do many of us think it matters didly sqaut whether he is No 1 or No 2, no i don't think so he will still whip Lorenzos candy A$$. I can't remember the poster that said age was not a barrier, and it's not, the Rossi haters bashers call em what you will have to try and justify why they bash rossi. Lastly, I'm a Rossi fan through and through and for those have you that have said rossi can't ride the Ducati, I have to say I completely agree, there and again there has not been many has there that can ride this piece of junk.

My money would be on Rossi any day, Lorenzo may have won a few races against a injured Rossi on the same bike, but now Rossi is fully fit I would not give Lorenzo that much of a chance. If Rossi stays at Ducati then they must have promised him something good. I personally don't care what he rides so long as it's a competitive bike he can fight at the front with. We are all going to have to wait and see what happens with the ducati line up for next year.
