Not a Hamilton fan, before I'm accused of it, but getting a bit fed up with the same old "such and such should keep his mouth shut and just race" theme in these posts. Webber was the target for a while, Coulthard has been, but mostly it's been Hamilton. When the press ask them a question, such as "What is your biggest motivation for winning here at Monaco?" would you like him to say "Dunno, just want to win really". Or would you prefer an answer showing that he's a normal person like ourselves, who has heroes. I Can remember myself desperately wanting to be a racing driver and win the monaco grand prix from an early age?

Irvine's absolutely right. If you were a team manager paying someone a reputed $30m you would surely be expecting him to beat the guy you employ on less than $10m. If he doesn't then of course he shouldn't expect to keep earning those sorts of figures.

Not doubting it's genuine, but radical have two SR3s for sale on their website, one at 25K and one (a pretty much brand new 2008 model at 42.5K. What I'm questioning is the mark up that someone has put on it, cashing in on the Mcrae name. Clearly if it was for sale a few months ago at 35K then whoever bought it has no genuine interest in it's heritage other than to double their money at the cost of a true fan. In the long run cars with famous owners don't tend to increase their value considerably, because unless it's in a museum, for visitors to see, then what you have is a car, that was once owned by famous person, but no one else knows it!

To the Crash administrators/editors/hack journos. Whatever you call yourselves. What a load of bull this story is. As someone above has said, Crash seems to be just out for sensationalist stories. Used to be a great site , shame it's gone so downhill and turned into "The Sun". This is the last time I log in to view F1 news. If you are one of the advertisers on this site please be aware that numerous people seem to be posting similar comments to mine, in that they are leaving Crash and going elsewhere for their accurate news. Crash editors, if you wish to discuss this point then by all means email me. To the person above who wanted a better site, try www.grandprix.com

Surely if it was on autotrader a few months back it was previously owned by Colin Mcrae then too? If it is the same car, then doubling it's price and advertising it on a site such as this seems a bit dodgy to me.

Matt: Digger you will actually find that damon was world champion in 2006 and that JV was world champion in 2007 so stop digging!! a hole for yourself Are you sure about that Matt???? I must admit that I thought Raikkonen pipped Alonso and Hamilton to the post in 2007, but I must be mistaken!! :)

Just a small point, and not really related to the topic, but does anyone else get the impression that Crash reporters don''t seem to just report facts any more, and tend to add pointless comments/their own often worthless opinions into their articles? For example "it''s hard to accept that Barrichello is a senior driver" In what possible way is it hard to accept that fact????? Nearly 36yrs old Driven for four different teams over 15 years Won 9 races, 13 poles, 16 fastest laps etc etc. Pretty senior if you ask me.

I think the title of this article is a little missleading (as are most headlines on crash.net). JYS doesn't actually state that the lack of traction control will cause deaths. What he seems to be getting accross is that it will cause more accidents, which is a fair point as it makes driving harder. And the main point he is making is that if drivers like Hamilton and Raikkonen are complacent enough about the possibility of some of these accidents resulting in fatalities that they don't wish to be involved in the GPDA then there is something wrong. Driver pressure on the authorities is what often results in a safer environment for the drivers to have "safe" crashes (moving of barriers etc)
