Congratulations to Hamilton.
The loser this year was F1. The amount of gossip that has gone on this year is disgusting, it brings the sport as a whole down. And the hardcore fans are getting as bad as football hooligans. Its motor racing not football !! Whats next, riots after the race !! You narrow minded ignorant fans who put other drivers down need to suck it up and keep your opinions to yourself. And websites like this need to stop reporting on any stray comment made by anyone, reading F1 news this year has been like reading a freaking womans magazine. Report on the POSITIVE, not the negative.

Well done to Loeb, was definately an exciting rally and an exciting last half of the season. But also well done to Hirvonen, no one has given Loeb as much of a challenge since Solberg when Loeb was still new. Having Loeb to compete with has drastically improved Hirvonens driving. He had a huge task to challenge Loeb to the title, but he stood up, he raised his game and he did it. Im well impressed ! Next year Mikko, youll get him yet.

I agree with Mikkola, Henning was not quoted as saying he wants a BP Ford Works car, he just said he wants a "proper car". The heading of this article is just Crash trying to stir people up. Otherwise known as trolling :P

He is still young, think back to Mikko in his Subaru days, he did the exact same thing on a super special stage. Everyone wrote him off that season but now look at him. I believe JML will be world champion one day.

Who cares about 5 year plans or how well he is doing. Everyone always complains about him but secretly everyone is jealous (I am). His dad owns a WRC team and gave him a car to drive in the championship, he is effectively a privateer. Matt is no different from Khalid Al Qassimi who basically bought himself a seat in the WRC. They are both extremely privileged and are taking advantage of opportunities available to them. Matt has the chance of a lifetime because Malcolm Wilson is his dad, and Khalid is super rich and decided he wants to go rallying. They may both be average drivers at the moment but why should either of them give up ? Would you if you were in either of their places ?

Seems Loeb doesnt do so well on new events (or route in this case) where he cant rely on his amazing photographic memory. Will be interesting to see how he does in Poland which is another new event.

To heres an idea : Ever heard of Indycar or A1GP ? Those are true drivers championships. Personally i kinda hope F1 folds and the teams put their support behind A1GP, now that would be awesome, Mclaren Team New Zealand :P

Im starting to look forward to next year and 2011 when they bring in the new cars and turn everything on its head. Will be good to see more manufacturers and more seats for the likes of Solberg. Then well see just how good Loeb really is, if he still dominates then ...... well that will be impressive.

I think Malaysia could maybe get away with calling the Ireland punt a "racing incident", maybe. But not the NZ punt, that was just plain bad driving and im surprised they didnt get penalised.

That seat that Matt takes up is not a Stobart seat, sure it has Stobart colours but if Matt wasnt in it, it wouldnt exist. His Dad owns the team, he gave his son a car to drive and a 5 year plan to get up to speed. If Matt didnt want to drive anymore I doubt Malcolm would keep forking out for a 3rd car that is technically not part of a team and cant be nominated for manufacturer points. Matt is probably the luckiest kid ever, he doesnt have a natural talent for rallying as say Latvala does, but what he does have is a Dad who owns a WRC team and is prepared to give him more experience than any other young driver has ever had in the hope that it will turn him into a good rally driver.

- Just one question please: using tactics = cheating ?? - Not when the FIA declares "These are the rules....." knowing full well that it will lead to teams using tactics. It may not seem very sporting, but if any driver has the chance to use these rules to win a rally, they would be silly not to.
