At the begiining of Casey LCR ride the team listened to Casey but soon started changing the bikes setting and not telling Casey, they would make their own "judgements" on what was best and change the bike completly ignoring Casey's instruction. The bike was being set up with ride height so low it would bottem out unloading the rear tyre instigating a highside. It took the teem most of there year to work this out. They wouldent listen to Casey. Casey's dad found out the team was doing this and soon enough Casey lost confidence in the team and left after a single year. In no way was Casey responsible for all those crashes. He's in a proper team now and the results speak for themself.

Boys....Sete will not get a factory position back. YWCNH will get the other factory bike, at best Ducati will provide a 3rd factory bike to Sete in a satalite team. His orders will be development and interference....you pick the order. The more I think about it the more I want Sete to go after the Doctor, On the other hand the Doctor may find motovation from Sete......but then Casey will still phsyc them both out.....Hmmm

Dice, the bike has only arrived at dealers here maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. I've not riden one yet. I do beleive its the best CBR to date....I never said it was bad...maybe your confusing me with someone else???? Will ride it in the next week or so, There is a Demo here I'll get to ride. I think the bike looks remarkably similar to a D16RR....but nowhere near as breathtaking. The new CBR1000RR took its debut win here in Australia in its first race. Thats history for the CBR anoraks.

as a matter of interest ace... have you ridden a RC8? Posted by Lexington Steel Yes I have Lex, at the local press launch, I actualy like the way it rides and its adjustability. Although compared to my 1098S and its smaller engine, the RC8 needs a fair bit more engine to get it in the ball game. What are your thought on riding the RC8. I remember Chu chu or somebody talking up the new CBR1000RR they were riding and the funny bit was they didnt know the bike hadnt even been released......Ahhhh man that was funny.

Jonny H ... now go ride the RC8! Posted by Dice Its a good first attempt, but compared to a 1098S its crap. Its bigger, heavier and slower......and its not a Ducati. The 1098 is refined excellence KTM have a long way to go before the RC8 could even dream about competing with a 1098. Peaple flock around my 1098S like its a Ferrari or somethng, the RC8 scares peaple off.

Yes Johnny, Picked my 1098S 3 weeks ago, I've only got 1500km on the clock, I put the Termi race system on it last week, road it for 250km man what a bike, she wheel stands from 4000rpm. At the moment she's on track, to be on track in about 2-3 weeks. Waiting on some parts from the US. I have a club event comming up so I've hooked up with my local Ducati owners club and 3 other 1098S owners and were going to put our heads together to sort out some geometry and suspension stuff. Ive done what I can with getting more hp out if it, now Im making it lite. Next engine mod will be about 2500k mark where I'll have the cams set too world super stock level. First track shakedown is on the 19th
