So polarised, so inaccurate.
(Am I the only one thinking the postings always dip during school holidays)?
Look. You might or might not like who they are or what they say but get real.
Rossi is a gifted rider.
Stoner is a gifted rider.
They're both slightly in each other's heads. But nether of them are particularly susceptible to having mind games pulled on them.
They're both on immensely fast well matched machines with different strengths and weaknesses.
This is a good thing. It *might* mean we're going to see Moto GP escape from becoming the F1 procession which would ruin it for ever. I won't bet on that quite yet, but I'll hope its so.

Toseland tells Government: Bikes help youngsters
Plenty of land in New Mexico? Better not tell the Yuk Gov or the bobble hat brigade or they'll join forces to ban your access We have a Janet Street-Porter spare if you'd like one?

New approach to unlock de Puniet potential?
1 disagrees.
Be fair That has to be the single most creative solution from any of the teams so far this season: 'OK. We know our boy can't keep it on the track guys. What do we do'? 'Boss, of course! Hire an MX guru to teach him how to find his way back'. Stunning in its simplicity. And possibly the only practical alternative to not being able to find a lawyer sharp enough to get them out of year two of the contract one might wonder?

Interesting little aside there about Nicky Hayden's speed in T 1 & T2. I wonder........

Corser survives collision with bird
At least when I got clouted by a bird a couple of years back I had the good sense to make sure it was a pheasant. Good eating on a pheasant. And seeing as, bizarrely, it managed to end up dead as a nail & wedged between the fairing support rods and the tank it would've been rude not to. Flamin hurt my arm tho and that was only at 80 odd mph. If you need to be doing over 200 kph to get a plover I reckon I'd rather give 'em a miss.

Spies ready for 'adrenaline', Sykes fast but falls
3 agree.
Gotta feel for Sykesy 'tho... I got it back from the lowside. Then it highsided. Cursed with too much skill! I hope that's his misfortunes out of the way and he gets enough practise in to make up for the gap whilst he recovered. As for Spies, well, I reckon Vale must have given him his old playstation with the island on to pick it up that quickly. Evidently a class act.

I knew Shakey's team's a bit skint, but its pushing it a bit not to go testing innit?

Canepa gives Ducati, Desmosedici insight
When I were a lad we used to DREAM of only having size 44 feet..... What's wrong with a thumb brake? Its curious 'though. Pre-Sepang test I would have put money on Canepa being quicker than Mika Kallio. But he wasn't.

Pro Ride, Lavilla to skip opening rounds
2 agree.
I dunno. It just *might* be a better option to save money there and have it in reserve for later when it could be vital. With the team's limited resources, high overall ranking's never been a likely option. And Greg's a realist as well as superb rider, so I figure motivation will be race by race results. Really this year, at this stage of things, its all he needs. Good luck to the bloke.

Paul Bird, Kawasaki - Q&A
"you look at the top Superbike teams, who have a budget of around £4million, which is a tenth of the cost. For MotoGP, to get anywhere near that, you still need around half of that, which is £20million" I'm glad he's cleared that up for us then
