So polarised, so inaccurate.
(Am I the only one thinking the postings always dip during school holidays)?

Look. You might or might not like who they are or what they say but get real.
Rossi is a gifted rider.
Stoner is a gifted rider.
They're both slightly in each other's heads. But nether of them are particularly susceptible to having mind games pulled on them.
They're both on immensely fast well matched machines with different strengths and weaknesses.
This is a good thing. It *might* mean we're going to see Moto GP escape from becoming the F1 procession which would ruin it for ever. I won't bet on that quite yet, but I'll hope its so.

Birdie's best hope has to be that Kawasaki need to pull a rabbit out of the hat somewhere given their embarrassing factory team pull-out from Moto GP. Parkes is good. Tamada used to be. After last year I reckon 'the jury's out' - tho in fairness I don't think many folk would say he was on competitive machinery then. ..... Problem is, they're both on the same bike Tamada was last season 'til its upgraded significantly.

Can anyone explain the logic underlying the remark 'He only races for the money (not to be at the front),'when there's a purse for winning plus, usually, a team bonus for winning and podium places? I don't think that is any of the rider's sole motivation and certainly doubt its Corser's, but even if it is Winning - earns - money.

I just wish they'd publish the data on the tests like they used to. I don't doubt Guintoli genuinely is a good rider, that was apparent even when he had what's now Toseland's M1. But Without the data (and even then without comparative data) its hard to estimate just how competitive any bike/rider combination's going to be.

He certainly has the talent and the spirit to do well. He's yet to prove he has the wisdom for sustained success, 'tho I think he's beginning to show that he might have. We could be in for a repeat of Cassey Stoner - Too much fire in year one. Just a fraction more measured in year two (plus a really good bike, which Jorge already has) and the Championship. Come to think of it the analogy won't be exact because Valle was having bike problems too, but still, in outline.......

Bri t's wrong about But you won't win complaining against the Football stadiums. The law works on precedent. Something's been decided once. Next time it comes up its supposed to be decided the same way. The reason you might be in with a good chance of winning is *because* of the Croft case. And *that's* why the politicians would be willing to change the law. Well, that and we could always slip a couple of 'em something in a plain brown envelope ...... Anyone know any Lords?

Brit's actually on the right track - but its a high risk one. The Croft decision sends a clear signal ALL bike / motor tracks are now at even greater risk than before. We are not popular. The general public are anti-bike and increasingly not that sympathetic to (other peoples')cars. The green lobby might well prefer to see the fuel required to run a couple of meetings being used instead to burn us all at the stake. So, unless and until claims are lodged against 'Sports for the herd' like football stadiums ..... which just might provoke a change in the law ...... Croft's the tip of the iceberg. Closure's coming soon to a track near you.

Bennetts would arguably be fairly stupid to throw good money after bad, they won't now get a much increased profile by continuing. Except, they aren't cheap - So they need to ask why do folk use 'em? But WHY can't you blame MSVR for lack of TV coverage? Last year's output was the worst for years. And what did BSB do? Nowt. Contrast that with WSB. Nothing on terrestrial TV. *Full* coverage of everything on streamed video on line. Failure to sort exposure alone could send any sponsorship deal tits up even without this recession.

Crazy Frog? Oh well, if the cap fits wear it but I suspect 'Cunning Frog' may be closer to the mark - So you might as well 'fess up: The real reason you've come to BSB is because you're ******* quick in the wet innit? :-) Good luck next season, I've never been convinced you were on equally matched machinery in Moto GP and that masked your talent. How are you planning to 'level up' your knowledge of the UK tracks in time 'though? I'm thinking Kiyo who came brilliant in year two found it a hard task in year one to adapt and Watanabe was less than impressed at a couple of the 'farm tracks' he found himself on for the first time last season.

I can't quite decide whether it qualifies as pathological or not, but if its not it takes a weirdly distorted amount of self-importance to imagine it either OK or credible to come out with the most implausible allegations and expect people to believe them. It been said, in bits here and there, already but how likely is it a rider so different in weight, strength and stature, with a different engine, riding on different tyres would copy DtD's settings? And what does it say about Puig's perception of everyone else if he thinks he can shovel out that sort of horse 'by-product' and generate some sort of affinity for him, his rider, his team or their sponsors? Go Nicky!
