MotoGP » Argentina MotoGP race confirmed for 2014

Ya Qatar is a waste too... especially for building a sell-able motorcycle market, and a total joke of an attendance of what 3k lol... if it weren't for their money and loads of it lol... fyi, Qatar wrote a ten year deal to always be the first race of the year, and due to their climate motogp got pushed back from starting in feb to start in April... Just saying, seeing as Dorna is trying to broaden their market, places like Qatar, Argentina, have very little to offer other then the fees that Drona receives... from a business stand point I get it, but does anybody really think the motorcycle industry as a whole, will benefit better in those places appose to China, Thailand (which is coming) Japan, or Russia... Bike sales in Europe, and North America especially, are way up, an the more tracks in bigger markets are what they need, but hey.... times are tuff, so take the money right lol...

Why Argentina?, with a population of 42 mill an average gross income 10K a year, not many can afford a bike, let alone a ticket to the the race... Yes' its great Dorna is expanding Motogp o south America, but they need to grow motogp in the Asian market, like Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan, as well other Europe countries like Russia, where there is more people and better economy to grow and sell bikes too...
