F1 » Button: The FIA did a really good job

richard: wgian. the funny thing is that the race actually went ahead when the track was at its best. they were even talking about slicks! had it been earlier, the track conditions would have been far worse.
According to Will Buxton, NBC's reporter on the grid, the support races in the morning were dry. Why they could not have swapped the GP for them is beyond me (the excuse, apparently was "to allow fans to get to the circuit") - Japanese fans are like the Brits - they'll be at the circuit for the gates opening! He (Buxton) mentioned that the stands were packed right from the off. Maybe the FIA could, for the future, add a "Force Majeure" rule that would allow them to overrule the local organisers for certain situations such as this, when the likely conditions were known about several days in advance.

F1 » Alonso: I’m the F1 decision maker

Pepe: Alonso and Qatar Taliz, you are close..., very close :) If everyone knows Alonso just came back from Qatar to the funeral of his sponsor Emilio Botin (SANTANDER) in Santander (Spain), good friend of his. Alonso was in Qatar getting finance for his cycling team, in fact he already got the international license to run the Tour of France. I would not be surprised if at the same time it crossed his mind to get the financing along Honda to purchase ML..., and fully supported by the power house which is Santander and some capital from Qatar. Now it makes sense his declarations. Goodbye... RON Jose in Toronto
Alonso's team will be pro-continental level, so would need a wild card entry for any of the Grand Tours.

F1 » Wolff: It’s now a straight fight for title

Taz: We'll see, be interesting to see if a certain diva takes a hissy fit if things don't go his way and Rosberg ends up been tossed under the bus by toto again. I'll be in Atlanta on Sunday, any ideas if any channels show it over there? iPlayer will be blocked.
It's on NBCSN - Dish Network Channel 159 - they also have an app - if you can find someone with a dish account and use their user & p/w, you can watch on your tablet/phone
