MotoGP » MotoGP pay TV 'something we must face'

Fox coverage is poor, mainly due to the number & length of ad breaks - and bloody Bob Varsha insisting on over-dubbing after every break instead of just going back to the (UK) commentary team. Coverage of WSBK over here is on Bein Sport, and that is in a different league - races are uninterrupted, they cover the whole day including WSS. I just wish they could get Moto GP too. It's all pay-tv here, though - got used to that over the years.

F1 » New Honda problem ‘absolutely unknown’

mytyresaregoingoff: I had the same problem on my Triumph motorcycle..turn on the lights and the engine cut out. I could not trace the fault for love or money so fully understand McHonda problem. Except I was an 18 year old self taught enthusiast in my dad's garage, not a graduate engineer working for a multi million dollar outfit.
I had similar, but that was a '64 Tiger 500 - the alternator would only charge if the lights were set to sidelights. Got rid of it quick! Edit: Is someone saying I didn't have that bike??? 6 silly buggers so far!

F1 » Ecclestone: ‘No point’ F1 targeting young fans

cont'd: But with the vast number of alternative interests now available, motorsport needs to attract the young. Otherwise, once old farts like you and me are up (or down) there watching the likes of Nuvolari, Fangio, Clark, Hill (both Phil and Graham), James and, I suppose, Senna, there'll be no-one left down here to fill the stands, or pay the satellite fees.
