Moss is THE BEST ! :)
He's totally right about Rossi. He's just not a match for F1. I think the whole Rossi-F1 business is more about pressure from the FIA to have a guy like Rossi in there than his actual will. Bernie's always complaining about the drivers' difficult to 'market' themselves.
The thing about Rossi is that he's a real thoroughbred racer. AND he's got the ability to market himself. No F1 guys have that.

so yoong said he's been offered a job, and later said that it wasn't a 'driving job'?!?! what do they want him for, to change the tires?! surely him and fauzy will be offered this pathetic seat. he probably just realised what a stupid thing it was to let out the info, and tried to 'fix' it. that aside, this is really an unholy abomination, this lotus team... isn't there any one out there who can stop these posers to use the name lotus ? i sugest force malaysia... :p

This weekend at the Belgian GP, Rede Globo commentator Reginaldo Leme (the same that started the allegations) said that, while interviewing Renault personnel off-record, they showed themselves very concerned about the outcome of these events. Of course Nelsinho stinks, and spinning out of a race would be nothing new for him, but it seams that when you partner Flavio Briatore, strange things happen...

Seems about right. I do disagree with a few ones though... I think McLaren will make a play for a german, most likely Rosberg. Heidfeld would replace him at Williams. Would be nice to se Hunter-Reay (or even Rahal) on USGP, but the smart money is on Summerton right now. I'd bet on Gene for Campos in stead of de la Rosa. di Resta should be on a Mercedes-powered car next year. He can be Sutil's teamate at Force India. Bourdais and Piquet, both seam to be in talks with Manor. I'd put one of them there. Most of it is just the way I think too. :)

I think of all these drivers the best fit would really be Rahal. Danica too, her results aren't that strong, but they're also as strong as any other american in Indy. But I really think they should go for a driver with a euro-background, even to avoid taking on drivers without motivation. Danica clearly doesn't care too much about F1. And Marco just freakin' stinks... Just look at his A1GP results. JV'd be nice too. Oh, and did someone there say Tony Stewart ? :? He's weighing like 500 pounds... wouldn't even fit in a formula today, barely fits his Impala...

This whole Cold War thing benefits noone. And obviously they wouldn't compromise, and one of them would have to be destroyed. So long Max ! So long Bernie ! The last one to leave locks the door... But, are people discussing Star Wars here ??? please...

The R15s are clearly inspired on old WR-Peugeot cars from Gerard Welter, early this decade. Meanwhile, the Flying Lizard Porsche wasn't even in the top-3 ?!

FooAtari, it's not just about money. F1 cars have an allure, like #48 said. It's the most sophisticated piece of machinery available for these guys. Sure they all dream with it (like you and me...) And it's not harder either. At least not because Montoya hasn't succeded in it. It's just different, very much so. NASCAR drivers moving to F1 would have the same struggle Montoya is having, I'm sure. In my opinion this is all very exciting, for both F1 and NASCAR fans. It would be amazing to see a driver take the opposite track as Montoya, for the first time. And being someone of the caliber of Kyle Busch just makes it all better.
