To assume that any 250 rider can go up to the 800s and equal Lorenzo is delusional at best. Neither Simoncelli, Bautista or Aoyama have a chance to equal Lorenzo's accomplishments. They should worry about beating his record on the 250s first.

Nice to see Hopper and Rea doing well. On the other side of things Biaggi and Spies are surely setting their bikes for the race weekend and not for a fast lap to impress us and the press. Aprilia and Yamaha are already making the go fast parts for the race based on the feedback. By the time the flag drops these numbers will be squashed.

Let's agree to disagree. I'm not gonna click my own agree icon to prove the obvious. On one hand you have riders which were constantly fighting at the front in the 990s, all of the sudden they're ****? Melandri ain't no slouch neither is Edwards, Capirossi, etc. Yamaha seems to be the only ones getting their bikes to run well at "ALL" tracks, Stoner's Duc always does well, the rest are just eating the leftovers what like 20 seconds behind? That's considered competitive? No way man! These bikes don't suit a broad amount of styles.Bring back the 990s. I miss the sliding and fighting.

This is getting embarrassing. There's only 4 bikes (the M1s) where a decent rider can shine in this championship. The rest unfortunately are career breakers with the exception of Stoner who seems to be the only one to tame the Duc. And please don't tell me because DP had a win aka a flash of competitivism in Laguna the Honda is all of sudden a top 3 bike because it is not. BRING BACK THE 990S! THIS BIKES SUCK!

The people suggesting a honda ride make me laugh. Anyone in the right mind knows the honda is a piece of garbage. How much was it, like a year without a win? Do you think honda all of a sudden are going to change their arrogant ways to give Lorenzo a top bike? LOL. These are the same people that let Rossi go to yamaha because they thought they were the center of the universe. They are extremely arrogant, keep making stupid decisions, don't listen to rider input (yes including DP) and have been chasing their tail for enough time to make any rider with a championship aspiration stay away from them. Unless JL is after the fat paycheck ( I sure hope not) honda is a no no. Honda sucks big time
