in the few wheel to wheel battles rossi n stoner have had, stoner has always taken the lead on a straight! that dont take talent, just a fast bike,i dont wanna take anything away from stoner cause he's doin a good job on the ducati, but theres alot of other riders on the grid who could do the same on that ducati, but how many of em could win a race on a yamaha....not many

i agree morgue i even agree with wat ace27 says rossi sayin he'll see his career out with yam complete p/r b/s,this season will tell. schwantz rode rossis yam at the end of last season and completely slated it,sayin out of the duke the suzuki and the yam the yam was the only 1 that got "outta shape" on him,he said "i dont care who you put on that yamaha it was never gonna win the title.im amazed rossi won four races on it" comin from schwantz you gotta say he knows wat he's talkin about.he also added the ducati was awsome,it just did everything well,so no suzuki bias either.if yam dont come up with something this season i see rossi going to suzuki

Yamaha's engine strategy explained.

end of last season yamaha said it wasn't goin to carry on development with the pneumatic engine,so why the u turn, yamaha dont like u turns it took rossi and burgess to convince them to go to a 16v head and dump the 20v the season before. interesting thing is that i've read that schwantz is lined up for a suzuki team next year as manager yamaha know that the suzuki was stronger than them last season and that rossis contract expires at the end of this season

tell me mate what part exactly did i make up?? you talk aload a crap ace,the obvious advantage for stoner at donnington was shall i say it again....traction control!! "Being ham fisted in the dirt doesnt change the fact that the princables are the same" wat r u on about, stoner showed how ham fisted he was on the lcr honda remember or have you conveniently forgot that, i dont hear doohan schwantz n co talk about stoner the way they do about rossi you use your road n track bike for slidin ,yeah i bet you do it all the time sat down the pub
you obviously know wat your talkin about.

up to speed on wat issue Ace,the fact the only thing that kept stoner in the seat was traction control and not throttle control!! the only similarity between slidin the bikes on the tarmac and on the dirt is the fact that the rear wheel is out of line with the front! you can get away with being alot more hamfisted with the throttle on the dirt, perhaps you should go out and have a go yourself!! all stoner has proved to me is that he can ride a less powerfull 250 n less powerful dirt bikes! different world from a gp bike, did you not watch the assen race in 07 rossi down in 8th place stoner out in the lead by 6 seconds, assen renowned for being a riders circuit! who won the race on a slower bike
