BBC extends MotoGP TV deal.
1 agrees.
2 disagree.
its not as bad as i thought it would be the extent of coverage looks to be fairly good...but i have my reservations about other sports clashing and what they would do, i mean eurosport doesn't cover itself with glory when events like the tour de bore are shown over everything else pushing motogp qualifying to 11pm not to mention the poxy adverts. As long as the beeb take it seriously and sort out the 'commentators' they have now. Whitman and ryder in the commentry box with parrish and mamola on the grid keeping suzy as presenter. Moody has started to annoy me with how he says 'year' recently and the less said about cox the better. fingers crossed b.b.c.

Eurosport loses MotoGP.
Oh God no!! i just noticed this and its a terrible decision by dorna ....looks like i will be getting a freeview box after all. The beeb can never give it the type of coverage eurosport is able to and we'll lose that ' all weekend ' feel that makes the eurosport coverage so special and comprehensive....awful idea.

Stoner smashes Donington Park.
1 disagrees.
wake up, im a vulcan logic is my only path. casey is a skilled rider i dont doubt it as are all motogp riders but there is something in the way that stoner rides that lends him to the ducati and his willingness to rip the throttle off as quickly as he can is one of these factors it goes against every instinct a rider should have hence why marco struggles he just cant teach his brain to get on the gas earlier, the two sat ducatis are crap anyway. however this is my opinion and i really hope i have'nt managed to offend someone with it....please. i am not a rossi fanatic just interested in why stoner has made some impossible jump in his talent since getting on the ducati.

Stoner smashes Donington Park.

gaz, i stand by my comments there are plenty of riders in motogp who can point to schoolboy victories (not that casey ever does) but just seven wins in proper races points to a middle of the pack rider to me..like checa, hayden, hopkins etc. i just dont want another boring year like last year thats all. For gods sake calm down i didnt realise you were his mum/protector otherwise i would have chosen my words more carefully!

Toseland ready for round two.
1 agrees.
Its nice to talk about someone other than stoner or rossi and all the childish fanboyness that goes with those two. james can get at best a top 5 this weekend. The most important thing is to keep fit and not get tempted into crashing, nice and steady for the first few races i think, then see how it goes with the new engine at estoril.

Stoner takes tenth win at Sepang.
8 agree.
9 disagree.
God this is getting veeery dull.Stoner is not THAT good.he cant be there was no indication of this throughout 125,250 ok he won a few races but never looked like challenging properly for a title, and last year he was very patchy on the honda to say the least..maybe some deal with the devil at the crossroads? seriously though this kind of racing is going to lead the sport back to the obscurity of the mid-ninetys its not stoners fault he is just doing his job the other manufacturers took way to long to get competitive this season..very dissapointing year for a neutral.

Rossi 'disappointed', Edwards 'embarrassed'.
7 agree.
2 disagree.
Not quite as much rossi-bashing as i thought on this topic quite restrained really only one embarrassing comment really. Poor workmen who blame their tools. god that must have taken ages to formulate that reasoned argument otto. Its obvious to anyone with half a brain that the yamaha/michelin package is completely tonto at the moment.I wouldnt mind betting that burgess and rossi have given up trying to get yamaha into pulling their finger out and are indeed looking at pastures new as stated above...im not a massive rossi fan i just think that its been shameful how people have started biting chunks out of a fantastic ex-worldchampion who has never shown anything but respect for the sport.

Great idea cant wait to see the bike..baz will always be missed i sometimes feel he does'nt get the credit he deserves a lot of people think he was just holding the title for kenny but baz had plenty of quality competition at that time.Pat Henan springs to mind. good on ya chris.

It seems that if you are a brit you have to not only put up with being given crap bikes (hodgeson, byrne, ellison) but also the fanatical hatred of some people who are bitter about relatives being 'shipped' from our shores for nicking bread on a sunday many years ago...maybe?
its not our bike racers fault you guys.

I think the engine is pretty sorted now ( motegi blow up aside) it seems to have good bhp for the straights and good characteristics into and out of the corner. Yep grromm they always look sweet like that with just the unpainted carbon..dribble
