F1 » Mercedes accuses employee of stealing data for Ferrari

mikeas: That's exactly what Mercedes/HPP did: "In April 16 this year Hoyle was informed, both verbally and via letter, he would be assigned to non-F1 projects, switching over to Mercedes' DTM programme, as HPP [Mercedes] "wished to manage the intellectual property" he was exposed to. Hoyle was provided with a new, wiped-clean laptop, email address and log-in details, denying him access to anything related to F1, and HPP restricted the areas of the building to which he was allowed.
Exactly, but I guess people on crash are too eager to do hottakes instead of knowing the facts of the story. Despite being placed in non F1 related tasks, Mr Hoyle: -manage to acquire data for merc F1 engines till september despite being isolated since april. -upload to an external website along with decryption software, -have detail raw performance data pertaining to the turbochargers saved on his phone, ipad, sdcard and external drive.

F1 » Maldonado confirmed with Lotus for F1 2016

Must have had a cast iron contract. Guess it's 30 million Renault don't have to find, can only be money reason, it's not talent.
30million? I heard it was €50 million, PDVSA are flushed even at the current oil climate. It's a no brainer to sign him even though he crashed a lot. At least unlike majority of pay drivers, he did scored a pole position and won a race in an inferior car. The potential is there, he just need a better driver coach.

F1 » Horner denies Mercedes complaints are hypocritical

I dont get people who support Horner views. Mercedes achieve their dominance while playing within the rules, Red Bull achieve their dominance by cheating and skirting the regulations, which is why FIA need to reinforced the rules at almost every race. The reason why nobody else is complaining is because they cannot find the fault with the extremely efficient W05/W06. The FIA did banned the FRICS that merc used but it barely make a dent because how well the rest of the car was designed. Dare I say, that this is the fastest/best car you can possibly build within current regulation without having to resort to cheating.

MotoGP » Kevin Schwantz: Attack at every opportunity

Yearby23: He was also 11 points behind Rainey before Rainey crashed. Schwantz was brilliant, I'm not denying that, but Rainey was better.
NO, the yamaha was a better bike. Schwantz rode a turd named suzuki which nobody else rode on the grid and his teammates never made it on the podium. On the opposite side, yamaha supplied bikes to loads of satellite teams and there are consistent yamaha and honda bikes that finished on the podium. When on the greatest rider of all time mentioned one of his idol is kevin schwantz, i bet he knows a lot more about how significant schwantz achievements on the track the the armchair experts watching the races at home.

FE » Volvo: Le Mans ‘dumb’, considering Formula E entry

This man might be smart in company management, but he is beyond stupid if he thinks motorsport is useless. Cars are not just a means of transportation, if it is we all will have a one box and 4 wheels sitting in our driveway. Jaguar never bothered with motorsport? How the hell did you think they established themselves as a premium brand, via lemans back in the 50s, *****.
