I think they have to decide, technology or entertainment, wsbk has been consistantly good this year for close racing from flag to flag, whereas all gp's this year have been ****, the races seemed to be decided after the practice sessions whose ever top usually wins, motogp has now become to technical

fact is whether it's rossi, stoner, pedrosa or lorenzo whose won, every race this year has been boring as ****, the 990's used produce last lap showdowns regularly, we have had two in the whole 800 era, probably pit stops could be the answer

you're right chu chu I was in mugello when barros beat stoner and there were a lot of angry ducati faces that day, and suprise suprise barros' season and bike reliability went south

motogp is going like F1 in terms that the best overtaking action is in midfield between the satellite teams, it's now only realistic for the factory teams to win, this is why motogp can't fill a grid, sito pons had one of the best privateer teams in gp and could wins races with tamada, biaggi and barros, there is no incentive to have a privateer teams anymore cos they can't compete with budgets or development, who'd pay millions for a slot on the grid to be finishing 18th every week when you can go to other championships and have a better chance for half the price, motogp is now just a circus

all this technology is overiding the entertainment value, many people go to watch racing to be entertained they don't care about what technology is on the bike they just want to see a good race, there hasn't been last lap fight to win a race this year, too much strategy too much technology less entertainment, wsbk doesn't have this problem always great racing

motogp isn't about racing flag to flag anymore as hard as you can, it's all about strategy and that's what's making boring racing
