RR » Derek Brien dies in TT accident

Terribly sad news. The TT, and road racing in general, can be a punishing, even for those who succeed, and that is one of the most important aspects of it. The risks taken, the bravery, the mental and physical will summoned by the racers over such an incredible course is what the TT is all about. The fact that those lads went out and fought tooth and nail in the 3 lap Supersport race that followed this accident is testament to that.

RR » Currie, Morgan killed in TT Sidecar accident

Road racing is a man's sport, for men. Men who choose, by their own free will and knowing the risks they face, to race. Messer's Currie and Morgan lived their lives more than most people ever do. I would suggest that individuals such as Mr Kraemer who wish to place bans on the TT and the like need to step back, look at the world we live in, and consider turning their attention to helping those unfortunates who have little or no choice in their fate.
