McLaren say,
"We had no choice but to appeal due to the importance for the matter and its precedence."
They set the precedence with the spy ordeal, the manufacturers points where taken away but the drivers where spared because they have little control over what the team does and shouldnt be punished for the mistakes of the team. That is what the FIA ruling said so that LH and FA could keep their points. The precedence is set, now deal with it. They get the same ruling you got RD, that still leaves Kimi as champ. Learn to control your team and maybey you will get a championship. RD is such a ****head.

Kovalainen sets pace as Jerez F1 test concludes.
3 agree.
IMHO it seems as though this site will omit information at will on articles to make some drivers stand out. I know Kovi is good but these times are consistent with all other drivers on 09 spec tires. They did not say that he ran slicks but Pedro was in the 1 min 19''s with 08 tires as well. It is unfair to say he dominated or any other driver dominated testing if they are on 09 spec tires with 08 aero specs. Of course they are going to kill the field with that type of grip. Put everyone on 08 specs and lets see what the times were. I love testing but think more is made out of these times than should be.

Barcelona test times - day one: 14 April.

Ghost2912, thanks for the info, the nose is cool looking from the pic they have up. I can't wait to see the rest of the aero parts they have in store for the car. I also cant wait to see what Michael is running when he hits the track, I am not sure they'll debut all the aero pats for the 09 package but I hope they have enough to give us an idea as to what the F2009 will look like.

BMW reflect on Kubica's 'nearly' moment.
2 agree.
3 disagree.
He looked great in that slide though, all you have to admit that. It looks like the Days of the controlled drift through the high speed turns may be back. All I know is based on the times of all the cars on the grid, we are up for a close and exciting season this year. Lets hope it is a 4 or 5 team shootout to the finish. Ans a big congrats to Kubica, he deserves some luck on his side.

Night or 'Good Night' for Oz?

This guy is such a Jack-off, if I were an Aussie I would be pissed right now. We had the same thing happen to us state side and now you are having it happen to you and the UK has the same issues facing them. The old established races that put BE and MM on the map with F1 are not paying enough to them. Even though they would have been nothing with out these races in the first place, now they have countries willing to pay ridiculous amounts to them just to have the name F1 in their country. I am planning to come to Australia next yeat to watch your race since it sounds like it will be my last opportunity to do so. Reputations are so important and Melbourne has a great one.

Lewis beats Kimi, Michael et al on day one.

What everyone (Hamilton hater or not) doesnt seem to recognise or they make little thought of it. Hamilton is new in the sport, Schumacher spent years in F1 and earned everything he got. He also gave all credit to his team for their support every time he won and took all blame when he lost, he is a class act. I think as of right now there is no comparison between LH and MS. In a couple years ther may be. And you also have to remember this is testing, the times are not that conclusive to what the race will be. Micheal is and always will be a class act and made the bigest impact so far to F1. Hamilton has a couple years to go to be compared to Schu.

Ferrari still chasing reliability as Oz GP looms.

I cant wait to see how MS and KR fair against the competition next week. I think MS is going to set a blistering pace there but I think the time away from the track and the current machines may prove me wrong. Either way, I wish I could see it in person so I dould see MS in action in person again. Either way, my enthusiasm will all be for Ferrari. This is going to be a great season, only three weeks left

Australian Grand Prix facing the chop?

TriumphST- I agree with your comment 100%, I have been getting up in thw wee hours in the morning since i can remember to watch F1. Bernie isn't going to change **** for the fans by taking it out of Melbourne, what he sill do is find a country that is willing to pay him more and that is it. He likes to say it is for the fans and so on but when they talk about killing Silverstone it is because the luxury paddocs aren't that nice or the Garage area isn't as beautiful as what he thinks an F1 garage should be. If this is true you can be sure I will be on a plane for one of the last races there since to me this race has merit and value and should remain the 1st of the season for many years

Lewis: Alonso showed how not to behave.
4 agree.
3 disagree.
Here you go Ian, this is Ron Dennis being quoted after China saying that Kimi was not Hamiltons rival,it was Fernando. I am not a Fernando fan but there has been more than just Fernando claiming inequality from McLaren and Ron Dennis. Hamilton has great talent but needs to stop building himself up before he has won the title. Michael is the winningest champ in F1 yet has never said that he is the gratest driver in F1, nor did he talk **** about other drivers. If Fernando keeps his mouth shut through all this he will prove himself to be the more professional person. Only time will tell. www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/formula_1/article2617378.ece

Big Nuts - Give me a ******* break, you are the one being the racist here. Not one of the posts above mention anything about race except yours. You are obviously the racist here. You come see me and I'll show you what a non racist person is. Keep your addequacy problems to yourself. I prefer reading peoples feelings on the sport, not on race so please spare us your drivel.
