McLaren say,

"We had no choice but to appeal due to the importance for the matter and its precedence."

They set the precedence with the spy ordeal, the manufacturers points where taken away but the drivers where spared because they have little control over what the team does and shouldnt be punished for the mistakes of the team. That is what the FIA ruling said so that LH and FA could keep their points. The precedence is set, now deal with it. They get the same ruling you got RD, that still leaves Kimi as champ. Learn to control your team and maybey you will get a championship. RD is such a ****head.

tsenna - He realy got to look at the tails of all the cars this past tests in Valencia. Even Force India beat them ????? :? As for - Friend of I H8 FERRARI, Kimi has always been regarded as one of the smoothest on the circut and also one of the fastest through the apex of the turns, And he has done a lot more than Jensen yet you dont hear him talking of his advantage. I agree the team has given him a horible car but he still hasn't done anything impressive in a couple years now, wo why is he running his mouth. Win a race and then tell us how it was your advantage that got you the win!!! ;) TC should have only helped his smoothness then, shouldn't it have??? :?

well then, if it is widely accepted then I guess he won a championship to???????? This guy has yet to do anything amazing in topflight and you are going to tell us that we the racing fans all widely accept that he is a master with the throttle. Maybe he should have been a ittle less smooth and just held it down so as to keep up with the rest of the pack. He wasn't even in the mid-pack fight this year. He needs to get off his high horse and win races. Why does he think any of us care what he says or thinks right now. We'll see his advantage at Interlagos next year. Will he break into mid-pack this year????? :?

Williams have handed it to Toyota again. Whats with the low laps for RB in the new Honda as well. I wonder if they ran into problems with it early on.

This is what I would like to see this year, more brnaching out. I love when i see teams doing things against the norm, even if they are criticized for its appearance. I never liked the McLaren and BMW viking horns but they must work for them otherwise they would not have them their. If this works out for them then I would expect other teams to venture with some sort of wings like this as well. I am glad they dont look at all like the previous attempt BMW mad with wings. The last version was just hidious

Take a look at the photo's, #18 is quite stellar. PM has opposite lock on the front tires whach would suggest that he was in a power drift. I cant wait for the season to begin, it is going to be so much more exciting watching the drivers have to reel them selves back in after they get over zealous on the entry and exit of the turns. I just hope through all the excitment we have a safe year so they dont put all the gizmo's back on the cars in the name of safety. I am so glad Williams is where they are, again how is Toyota getting beat by their own motors. Seems to me they need to go outside Japan and look for real talent on car design if they want to be competative.

The mix is looking pretty good through this days testing. I hope that the rest of the tests are close and that it is a sign for the season to come. I am a huge Ferrari fan but truly want a fair and competative season this year. I hope it is not just McLaren gunning this year with Ferrari. I would love to see the title fight coming down to four or five teams all having a reasonable shot at it. I would also like to see Williams up in the front this year. If all the tests are a sign of the season it looks like it could be a truly exciting one. I dont understand why McLaren is not having LH do the majority of the tests, afterall he is the one that will pilot the car, not PDR.

What I find so amazing is that some of the idiots that get on here will attack someone because of who they root for and then get so mad when someone says something about their drive or team. Upside-Down - I am a Ferrari fan and have never gotten on here to rip someone because they root for LH, DC, JB or FA or any other driver or team. If someone is happy that their teams perform well they should be able to cheer them up. That is why we are called fans. I like the fact that we have McLaren, Toyota, BMW, Honda and all the other teams here and I love reading intelegent posts on here. Why do you have to fire off about Ferrari fans when not one said anything deragatory about toyota??? :?

Wow, I to am not a FA fan but never doubted his abilities. I think all the one sided people have to look at Coultard's and Montoya's complaints a favoritism from RD before they go casting all blame on FA. RD has a reputation from many years of being a favoring, arrogant prick. FA has proven himself with two championships and in his ability to set a chapionship winning car up from development to race setup. LH is a very talented driver as well but did luck out from having a car developed from a 2x champ and from getting to utilize his race setup. And RD also proved his favoritism at Interlagos with his comments about LH's competiotion (FA). Be fair on your judgments.

I have to say that car looks great going down the track. Is it me or does the middle section of the nose where the suspension mounts look very thin compared to the old car. I cant wait to see live pics of the car in a better weather condition. I cant wait for Jerez. I hope we get to see some controled drifts now that we have no TC, this should be fun to watch. I cant amagine how the starts are going to be now, the drivers are for sure going to be on their game now. Not that they weren't before ;)

Good point Dale, I know the rules say there can be no pit to car communication during a race but are they going to allow Tech support to log into the car via LCD moniter on steering wheel and a help button if there are problems. :? I wonder if the drivers are going to have to worry about getting the updates during a race for the software. If the ECM is anything like my MS Vista then the teams will have the most DNF's they have ever had in the past. :p
