This is totally the wrong thing to do - i am in total disbelief.
This is the worst news i've had since i found out my wife was pregnant again!
Seriuosly though, motogp with toby, julian and randy is the be all and end all.
The BBC coverage is at best shoddy. Their presenters (with the exception of stavros) have no real clue about it, whereas eurosports trio live and breath it. You feel that they are part of the scene, they are friends with all the paddock. The BBC lot could just as well be in a studio in shepherd's bush commentating on it. They also present it to the lowest knowledgeable viewers - it is very frustrating to watch.
Dorna have it wrong - they will loose viewers over this.

i wonder how many of you will watch whatever toby comentates on in the future if it is not bikes? I am a fan of his, Julian and Randy. I am a fan of Motogp. I am a fan of Eurosport. Put these 3 elements together and you have the standard that the BBC must live up to. THe BBC will not live up to our expectations - not thru lack of effort by Belinda, Parrish, Perry and co. but because we have been spoiled over the years by the eurosport coverage. Not one of us would be here on crash.net if we weren't REAL racing fans - and i think it is fair to say that most of us would have preferred the eurosport trio and the eurosport committment / coverage. I will watch the BBC but will be missing T,J& R

what about melandri? my god hopper has been unlucky but melandri wouldn't be far behind him if kawasaki do pull out. It will a terrible blow to motogp if they do pull out. Yes they have been also rans but the start of each new season brings hope for every team / rider. maybe the glory days are over for motogp, i hope not as it has been the greatest spectacle for years (at least to the early nineties when i first got hooked)

man, i have got to say that watching the massa family celebrating only to be told that lewis had done it was gut wrenching. terrible thing to watch. but that is the way the cookie crumbles, i guess - or as they say 'that's racing'

lexus, he didn't have THAT much of an advantage - if he did, why didn't he use it in the last 2 laps after the bus stop incident - they were fairly even until kimi stuffed it!

Paul 46, you haven't answered my question of 'do you really think lewis would have passed kimi if they had both gone thru the bus stop with out incident'?

JEZ355 WATCH MOTO GP - bike, petrol, tyres, green light - first one back is the winner. Simple and pure - and the best racing week in and week out.

as soon as i saw LH go into la source hairpin ahead of kimi i knew there would be trouble. Ron Dennis said afterwards the lewis 'had' the corner in the bus stop, but that is just not true. Lewis did gain an advantage - he had more momentum going down the straight - if he had followed kimi thru the bus top with no incident are you telling me he would have out powered the red car to the next corner???? However, we would not be talking about this if was any other 2 teams involved. For years i thought it was a schumacher bias but it is a ferrari one. Don't they realise they had one of the best races in many years? Why spoil it..... oh, and Spa.... bernie: never, ever drop Spa again
