the one race ban on renault i think was given because alonso radioed the pits telling them he thought he had a puncture and renault did not answer him telling him to slow down or stop as he had a loose wheel, you are not trying to tell me the wheel gun man did not know the saftey latch on the wheel cover was not properly seated in the locked position.

after all the previous seasons decisions by the fia stewards im not suprised by the race ban and seems all the other teams have recieved punishments simiular to this for lesser infringements i think they got off lightly really (flavio must have known about this earlier on during the race and thats why he left early on)it could have been worse if someonbe had been injured.

Big Zipper - i totally agree with you hopefully lewis will get around the first cornor without someone shunting him up the rear again and alonso is going to be a rolling road block until after the first stops if you are unlucky enough to get stuck behind him.

i really like massa as a driver and a sportsman he is an ok guy and i really hope he pulls through this ok it is a real shame to the sport when something like this happens, it just reminds you that no sport is 100% safe even though the fia do their best to try and make it safe.

i think the only problem for lewis is if alonso gets around the first cornor before him i dont think the rbr cars will be in front alonso will be like following the truli train if he gets around the first cornor in the lead, he is going to back the whole field up in that renault. they have tried the strategy in the past and it did not work it just makes them look good to the sponsors on the day and just hinders the better cars/drivers on the track during the race. The renault is still a dog of a car it's just flavio trying to make himself look good.

another veign attempt by renault to lightly fuel alonso to make their sponsors happy with a good grid position for the race a pity it will amount to nothing as normal as the car has no real pace on race day it will be like following the truly train if he gets away in front at the first corner.

nice to see the mclarens doing well but the times do not really mean much in practise sessions it would be better if fuel loads were included as well, it was said on autosport that jenson was running as he would in q3
