rawdawg i kind of think they are sandbagging button never really produces a really stunning time in free practise sessions, but the same can be said of mclaren as well it always seems to be on the day in qualifying that they produse the best times. I think brawn and mclaren have alot more to come tomorrow in q3. The ferrari's look really sad today.

he obviously thinks hs has a good chance of a seat for 2010 with three new teams coming to the grid

I think this is sheer madness to put a rookie driver with no cockpit time in the next gp which is a tight and twisting circuit lets just hope he does not take anyone out and spoil the race for everyone. What tost said about not expecting anything from him in his first three races as he gets used to the car is a tall order i think with no testing he will take longer than that to get upto speed. :?

i feel sorry for him having alonso as a teammate having to play a support role all the time, not getting the upgraded car until alonso decides it is ok and alonso getting all the upgrades first no wonder he looks so bad all the time and is way down the time sheets, give him the equipment alonso has and lets see what he can do. There is very little between drivers alonso has just been lucky he won two wdc with a superior car at the time.

if it is right what was said in an article on autosport (autosport.com/news/report.php/id/76993)that the mp4-24 has improved by 0.7 seconds a lap then i think it is possible for them to win at the hungaroring, if webber had not ran into hamilton at the first cornor who knows what would have happened, with the odd tweak here and there which all teams do to their cars anything could happen. The hungaroring also suits the characteristics of the mp4-24 i think it is going to be a good race weekend whoever wins.

This story just about says it all about max and bernies involvement in f1 they are both over the hill to be making decisions about the future of the sport the medals/ferrari/diffuser issues should have never been needed to be made. It is getting ridiculous now i agree with alans comment about the 70's let the teams develop a car that is innovative with only a restriction on engine size and gearbox i dont want to see the cars all looking the same it just makes it all boring i dont mind if a car is 5 seconds a lap quicker it would be great to see the other teams trying to copy and incorporate the design into their own cars to catch up bring back the good old days.

The below statement says it all "Those contracts were signed before their share prices took a dump. I believe FOM Formula One Management, the commercial rights holder of F1 will not be able to give the teams as much money as they have." Bernie has told max that he is reducing the amount of money FOM is going to pay to the teams from 2010 this i think sums the whole thing up.

I think it is now getting beyond a joke all the rule changes and budget caps etc it could well be the time for ferrari to do what they threatened to do a couple of years ago and form a breakaway series without max and bernies interference in the sport at the end of the day these to men are getting on in years now and as such you tend to loose your reasoning and understanding of the sport basically there just seems to be so many crackpot ideas coming from the fia and fom of late.
