i agree commadore it does effect the balance of the car the higher the engine the more the car will want to lean over in corners unless the extra large diffuser is countering this effect and giving extra downforce as well. personally i cannot see it being benificial but if ferrari are doing it they must have the right numbers to make it worthwhile lets just wait and se how they get on in the season

Richard/Andrew one of the problems with the crash board is that if you are not logged in you can post as whoever you like and then if you logged in and checked the posts you had made it would not show up in youre registered posts list i.e. i could post as richard but it would not be a bold blue for the posters name. This is a problem with crash's system of allowing people to post who have not registered i would like to see this board for members only and then we would get decent comments from posters who are imformative and interesed in the sport.

alan %100 agree with what you are saying i got really annoyed about sennas cousin changing his surname to senna it was like he is trying to get on in life from his uncles achievements instead of his own and yes i agree with you there is nothing the matter with an f1 team called proton and yes it does sound quite good short and sweet like mercedes, ferrari etc. etc.

interesting that mercedes and ferrari both ran their cars on track until they ran out of fuel, maybe they are just checking to see if their fuel/lap numbers are correct. I think there will be a few cars running out of fuel before the end of the race this year not many times but it will happen like in did before refueling

i would like to know how many laps a car can go on average on a full tank of fuel, if all the cars started the day on a full tank then the figuress look good for all the teams up to ferrari

alan not a bad idea about using both makes of tyres in a race but to have two drivers on two different manufacurers tyres the only thing i can say is which one gets the better tyre?
