Shame they couldn't come to a reasonable agreement with Brands Hatch though, both parties (Flammini and Palmer) will be missing out on some readies and we will be missing a superb weekend of bike racing. There's still room on the calendar though so i will keep hoping altho i've given up on the finger crossing cos it's painful after the first few weeks :P

@ Bobness Kiyo is still with Ten Kate but doesn't seem to have the Hanspree sponsorship. Weird but it will be interesting to see the bikes livery come Philip Island on 1st March

I can't wait for 1st March, i shall be staying up all night to enjoy it all. I'm glad it's not on the Beeb on ITV...would rather have Eurosport giving it it's full attention. Here's hoping it's your year Nori and no more repeats of Donny please, i was more than a tad disappointed in that but your fans still love ya and want you to do it for yourself as well as for us! Go #41!

continued.. I've seen the track alterations and they look good tbh but they really need to sort out their customer care. It's almost as if they think that because they have the only GP (bike)in this country they can take liberties by treating the fans like a cash machine without giving much back in return. It's going to be even worse now WSB has only one round here. Having said all that...i will still be going because i love my bike racing. I'm over a barrel, as are most fans of motorsport but that doesn't mean we have to be happy about it

(AWRB) I'll agree that Donington is a great track. The problem is not the track itself but the god awful facilities, the attempt by the owners of the track to stiff more money out of you each time you do something (a great example is the music at night...Brands is free and Donny charges AND they stop you from taking in your own bloody beer! Really nice for those of us who pay to camp the whole weekend..not). I don't feel welcome at Donny...anyone who went to WSB last year will know exactly what i am talking about. The toilets and showers are disgusting...again Brands has Portakabin showers which are usually hot and clean.....

Donington is a hole in comparison to the services laid on @ Brands. You get looked after @ Brands and you get forgotten @ Donington

The fact of the matter remains that Lewis was faster in that car than Heikki. If Heikki wanted to prove a point or show that he was the equal of Lewis then why has Lewis regularly outpaced him during a race? He can't be heavier on fuel for the whole race can he? He could come fourth and still be outpacing Lewis at points during the race but that didn't happen. He had the car to be a regular points scorer and back up the Team Championship but he was unable to do so, unlike Kimi (and we all know what a torrid season he had). I too like Heikki but he needs to show it on the track...which he rarely did imho

It still doesn't explain why he couldn't match Lewis' lap times at most tracks. Even if he did start heavy at some point he would have a low level of fuel to go for a faster/ similar lap time than Lewis. Would be interesting to see the stats on fastest laps at each circuit for the two drivers, that would be a truer indication of ultimate pace. Let's be honest Heikki wasn't consistently fast anyway whereas Lewis and others on the track were able to be so. Knew there would be a comment from Richard on this, just can't wait to back up his constant negative comments about Lewis over the whole season is all. Most regulars on here know that anyway and most of us ignore him most of the time lol
