Its about the racing? "Things should be decided on the track" !!!
Yes indeed the rossi groupies do all seem to base the merits of MotoGP primarily on personality for some reason? And for this they do not like Stoner, why? because he does not act like a clown after the race, this fact alone is what shows me the real difference between enthusiest and groupie, most rossi groupies are also very young as is evident in their immature jibes about crashing?..... Casey is indeed pushing and will have spills, its what he is payed to do develop the Ducati, limits must be found.
I think the people supporting Stoner are more interested in racing than "slapstick"

Thats exactly why Troy and Gazza would be my choice as wrestling the Ducati appears more likely required to get that extra 11/10ths required. The Honda and Yamaha require less physical input it would seem with more riders achieving consistent results. Troy has the time aboard the Duc where as Gazza with the dirt track back ground also but less time on the Duc. Regardless the more testing by a variety of riders the better ;)

Casey has proven he is the strongest of the Ducati riders, Lorenzo and Pedrosa the best Yamaha and Honda...... theres your clue as to where the title fight will lie this year, unless it rains and then you can forget Pedrosa. We are "yet" to see how Horhay goes on a Moto GP bike in the rain. Certainly that is unlikely to be any worse than his team mate though ;) JUST THE FACTS

Max probably dosent have quite the development ability potential to sort the handling as Troy in my opinion anyway, that said it certainly cant hurt and certainly is not bad anyway to get the varied feedback. I would like to see further test riders sourced also. McCoy is one that comes to mind quickly. Its way too early start to start and worry realistically anyway that time will probably come if after China things do not improve dramatically for Marco especially ;)

No No No its clearly going to be between Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa.... Horhay is looking pretty good if Casey has and serious problems for much longer. I would be pretty surprised if Stoner does not bounce back at the next round ;)

Good points re -rider input concerns.... Troy would have to be the best option given his Ducati experience and current potential availability maybe offering him a very respectable testing fee would overcome any past personal issues with Suppo. That said who else seriously could offer as positive an input??? Max/Carlos hmmm, I really cant see great leaps and bounds forward offered from either to be honest. Troy is the man and anyone else would really be just a gamble as I see it so offer him what he wants along side his SBK requirements. It aint that hard to see this as one of Ducatis better options right now...

Theres at least three wet tyre options that Iam aware of, though not so sure about actual # of compound variations so would also be interested to learn more. They do use cut slicks, shallow wet and full wets.

I reckon as both the Ducati chassis and tyre compounds are all new in 08 so the balance is not exactly as in 07.... To say that the tyres are the problem is just partially the story as its all relative to how the new compounds perform in balance with the new chassis. The problem seems to be this combination and not being able to test on curtain bogey circuits in my opinion anyway. Testing could only assist further but the riders doing testing are critical also

Wow the yellow kool aid brigade are bleating in fine form today eh. I see at an all time high also it would seem....."Stonerphobia" thats it!!! Stonerphobia= when an yellow individual/groupie suffers total loss and touch with all reality based facts and then spews mindless anti casey/aussie drivel in hope that if repeated often enough it will in fact become reality and restore glory..... symptoms usually are the result of injesting way too much yellow kool aid. ;)
