Oh what a surprise Mad Max wins the vote, no one could see that coming could they. It just goes to show the level of corruption within the FIA, and reinforces the total lack of credibility it has. Overall a very bad day for 4 wheeled motorsport

A statement like “God was with me” from anyone in a high profile position will bring questions about their mental stability One of the best quotes on this type of thing I ever had the privilege to hear was at a close friends funeral “He believed religion was something you did & not something you talk about” With both sport & politics ANY religion has no place in it

F1 has been dyeing since the late 80’s/ early 90’s. Gone are the glory days of more cars than grid slots & the dreaded pre qualifying. Then there have been the numerous rule changes to make it better viewing, which have all just made it more of a procession & now it looks like we are going to have even more street circuits with Singapore this year the possibility of Paris & the eternal dream of London. Monaco has history but in this day and age it is a relic of the past and hardly produces great racing. The Bernie & Max duo have been killing the top flight of car motorsport for years by bleeding it dry & dumbing it down And from my point of view they are both equally to blame Bernie for trying to turn F1 in to a clone of Chap/ Indy car & Max for selling Bernie the commercial rights for 100 ye****** Who in their right mind would compromise the future of a sport with a deal like that? F1 is now little more than an amusing side show & will remain so for many years after the Ecclestone & Mosley cancer has been cut out!
