Now that is good sportsmanship from Max! :)
They've done excellent work on that RSV4.

Seeing as how fast the Aprilia got up to speed, I am sure that next year they are going to be one of the title candidates. Amazing bike, and Max is looking more relaxed than ever.

Honda doesn't have anything (zero that is) to say about this, after all, it is still 2009. He signed for 2010. If Piaggio/Gilera wants to play dirty, they won't release himn from his contract right up until january 2010. As Honda did with Rossi when he switched to Yamaha back in january 04.

And did Melandri get on the podium with that Ducati? He didn't, did he? Nuff said then.

Seriously guys, this was exactly one of the reasons Haga didn't continue with Yamaha. Remember what Corser said about Haga "he was Yamaha's golden boy". Yamaha never totally got their act together. Remember how the previous R1 just kept eating tires, and I can still remember a couple of DNFs because of technical problems, in particular the one at Assen 2007. No wonder Haga switched to Ducati.

And Ben Spies could have won even more races and leading the championship. What's your point, fabs? It's all part of racing, and for a brand new bike and team Aprilia and their riders are doing a really good job.

Seriously guys, if any of you actually think that the '05 Camel Honda that Bayliss rode was close to the factory spec Honda that year... :? He had zero support whatsoever that year. Yeah, Biaggi won on a similar looking bike in previous seasons. That's about the only thing that was similar. The looks. Daft thing to judge a bike's capabilities on how it looks! That's like a girl saying that red bikes are faster than blue ones. (Which, fyi, is not the case).

Relax, the kid is just a rookie. He is looking poor because Ben is just so good. No other rookie comes close to Spies. A guy like Spies doesn't come by every year.
