MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner at Laguna my best battle

I'm a big Rossi fan and was glad to see him beat Stoner at Laguna Seca but he did pass Stoner illegally. The rules are very clear, you must stay on the track, if you run off the track accidentally, you may not take advantage of another rider. After the race Rossi said he knew that if he passed on the inside on the dirt there was enough traction to do it. So that's what he did during the race. He passed Stoner by going off the track, violating the rule. He outsmarted Stoner and rattled him so badly that Stoner crashed but he made an illegal pass to do it.

MotoGP » Pedrosa focussing on Rossi fight

Robert Danley: Pedrosa might be better served by remembering that the championship isn't over yet. Anything can happen. It's not over until its over.
If Marquez wins in Aragon and podiums in Motegi (and Pedrosa/Rossi are more than 75 points behind), the championship is over. He'd be able to miss the last 3 rounds completely and still be crowned the champ (loose math, but you guys get the point).
Awful lot of ifs there. If Marquez crashes and can't race for a few races it's wide open. Don't concede the title until it is won.

MotoGP » Yamaha wants Rossi to ‘stay to end of career’

Yearby23: In regards to the conversation changing from Rossi's 2 more years to 'Yamaha need to pull their finger out'. This has always been the case with Yamaha... 2004/05 the bike was better than in 03 due to help from Barros as a development rider...Not saying he did all the work but it helped Rossi a bit, but Rossi was the difference! Barros???? Are you bloody kidding me? Barros was a 2nd rater on his best day. Yeah, and I guess he would have been world champion on the factory Honda if they had only listened to him ha? What a joke! Barros, LOL
