What he means is "if they are the only supplier". I have an issue with Pirelli wanting to be the only supplier or taking their toys away. What's wrong with competition? I have an issue with the current compounds. Given the amount of problems that the teams are having getting them to work consistently, I wonder what data Pirelli gave the teams, if any. And surely, they can do something about the marbles. After x number of laps, there is only one line. Surely that is bad for racing.

Reality is that JB will never willingly support anyone unless he is told to do so by the team, and MW will never do this. He'll just get out the old McLaren philosophy that the team allows its drivers to compete with each other, just to protect JB. If the shoe were on the other foot, I'm sure he would tell LH to support JB. LH should seriously consider leaving McLaren, but now is not a good time, so maybe sign up for a year and see how it goes.

Disagree completely. If you allow this sort of barge past maneuver then all the drivers are going to try it on. A passing maneuver is one where the driver behind has to pass the driver in front without taking him out or forcing him off the track. Otherwise, why not just get out the weapons and have at it?

MW will support JB is this because he won't want JB to have to support LH until JB has absolutely no mathematical chance of winning. Which given how JB has driven of late may not be long in coming, but which may also be too late to help LH.

Have to say that I'm not really a fan of these podium interviews. OK, it is probably good for the track spectators, but I don't think it adds a lot to the show for TV viewers.

richard, he may have been a second ahead at the finish, but neither RG or KR seemed to be able to get past him after closing him down very quickly. They never got closer that about 0.8 sec, even with DRS, and KR was following LH for over 15 laps at the end.
