RD's face says it all. Another McLaren **** up, this time in thinking that Hamilton would just take the pay cut. How can you let go one of the best racers out there? And do you really think that LH isn't focused on winning, for whatever team he's driving for? You have a silly rule about keeping driver trophies and MW & JB wanted JB as number one, so they eased LH out.

It's legal but in no way could you call it sporting. But then, that's Ferrari all over. They'll pull any stunt to win. But if you think about it, what if another team did the same a bit later and put the Ferrari's back on the dirty side. When would it ever stop? The FIA needs to step in to stop an uncontrollable situation from starting. Why is it a 5 place drop? Why not 4 or 6 or 8? Seems a bit arbitrary to me.

It's easy to understand. JB is a MW signing whereas LH was a RD signing. With MW in charge, he is naturally biased towards his signing. JB has to look good or it reflects on MW.
