I don''t even get to see current ITV or future BBC coverage, but even so, this is an underhand move by the FIA. Since when do they have the right to dictate who can and can't commentate on a race. Brundle has a pop at Max and this is Max''s revenge? Or is Donnelly doing this off his own bat to stay in Max''s good books. This just shows how Max and his cronies behave and why they should GO, NOW.

Not sure about best. Good, definitely. A mix of youth and experience. Vettel still has things to learn though.

Without knowing the detailed clauses of his contract, it is difficult to reach any meaningful conclusion as to whether or not he has any grounds for legal action. I would expect that normally there is a performance clause and if it is at all meaningful, it should be relative to his team-mate rather than just a straight points target. On that basis, there is little to warrant his sacking given that the car was crap and the drivers did the best they could with it. But then, STR don't seem to have treated him very well in the recent past anyway.

There is nothing in what he has said here that would put me off. He has said very logical things, especially about being in power too long. I think it time that the FIA bring in measures to limit the number of terms any one person can serve, in all of the top positions, not just president.

I think he has bad memories of the Yamaha, but that was a long time ago and the bike must have changed since then, even so I don't think he'll go there unless there are no other options. First option has to be Gresini, where he will feel at home. Just hope they have a good bike to give him.

Seems to me that one of the problems that a lot of teams have this year is getting heat into their tyres. Testing in a hot place wouldn't necessarily have helped there.

Laguna Seca was his home race and he usually rides well there. Remember his championship season. So, if you take that result as an anomoly, I think he is quite a way off the podium. Someone like Melandri is closer, but I think it's all down to the bike.
