MotoGP » Jubilant Marquez hails 'hard-fought' win

To see how he slid that bike into turn 10 with six laps to go showed me that no matter what's going on around him and what he has to do, he's gonna fight tooth and nail until the race is over. That bike was sliding all over the place and he never took his eyes off of the ball. Amazing really. I've been watching him all year but, I've never been truly impressed with him (mainly due to him inheriting an awesome bike) until today. Lorenzo and Pedrosa were fit and Marquez still got the best of them. He was never really out of touch the whole race and controlled everything racewise like a genius. Someone better stop him soon or this title is his.

WSBK » Sykes: We overachieved on expectations… by far!

People can say what they want about Tom not conserving his tires.....etc.... Truth is, Tom did enough to win this championship. It was the things that weren't in his control that costed him. Like today, even if Biaggi would have been passed, Laverty would have more than likely helped him and that's just one more thing that was out of Sykes's control. It's not his fault that Baz wasn't faster. Sykes was at the sharp end every round. Shredded tires or not and despite the few mistakes he did make this year. Congrats to Max and all but, Tom was the true champ of this year!

MotoGP » POLL: Should Stoner help Pedrosa?

I agree with everyone on the fact that the Title should be won without any help BUT, what if Pedrosa is out front and Lorenzo is behind him with Stoner 3rd? Shouldn't Stoner at least try to take some points off of Lorenzo? If not for Pedro at least for Honda's sake? Honda didn't field two riders only to watch them not keep Honda's best interests at mind as well. Honda is a company who helps pay Stoner AND Pedrosa's salaries and if one of them is not in the running for the title and won't help the other Honda rider who does have a chance, why would Honda have employed them? Do you honestly think that Honda will sit back and say to Stoner: "Weeeelp, since you have no mathmatical chance at winning this year's championship, we won't mind if decide not to use your blazing speed to help bring a title home for us." Please people, like the politics or not, Stoner should at least try to help keep Lorenzo at bay. Now, if Pedrosa is just plain to slow and Stoner has a chance to beat him, he will.

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa: 'One of my best ever races'

No doubt that it was a great battle! I'm just glad to see that Dani is not gonna sit back and just take it up the arse like he's done for so much of his MotoGP career. I'm sure most riders feel that once they've passed him on the track, there's nothing else to worry about and I'm soooooo glad to see that Dani is finally setting a new standard for himself as a racer. Now, other racers will have no other choice but to respect him more on the track. Jorge will never admit it but, he's gotta be getting a tad bit worry right now.
