Interesting how Rossi makes excuses all year as to why he failed and the groupies jump on board as though the whole world has conspired against him.

Westy has wrist surgery to fix a chronic injury and comes out and says my fitness is terrible and I had know idea how tough it is to do preseason testing (he has never done it before) and therefore I am really disappointed with my effort. I will work hard to improve.

And all the expert forum bloggers come out an bag him for being crap. Well maybe he won't cut it but at least he is out there having a go. If he does do well it won't be because of his skill it will because it is the bike or tyres or TC. After all he is Australian!

If DC had of yeilded to Massa then he would be considered weak and every driver would be trying to stick it up the inside. I bet next time Massa will have second thoughts as to whether he should stick it up there from so far back. It is not always about the current race. A driver needs to maintain a reputation that makes a competitor give them respect on the track. Giving in easily only makes it harder to keep the corner next time.

Reduce the aerodynamic grip significantly. Increase the tyre grip. Greatly reduce the braking capacity. These 3 things will allow cars to get closer to each other. Allow them to maintain grip through the corner when close together and then increase the braking distance allowing an overtaking move to take place based on driver skill on the brakes. Another change could be to reduce the number of gears to 5 so engines had to increase the size of the power band and therefore potential change the acceleration characteristics of each manufacturers engine.

I am really looking forward to watching JT race. He is the sort of bloke that everyone has to like and he is proving himself to be an excellent rider. Especially seeing he is doing so well on such a terrible bike!

Really want to make a comment about Edwards not being available anymore to do Rossi's tyre testing but I assume Rossi thought of this when he forced himself apon Bridgestone. So I will just sit back and chuckle to myself!

Nick Doohan, It is quite clear that Stoner beat Rossi and the rest of the field in 2007. By definition that makes him the best rider of 2007. No current rider has a better career than Rossi. We are not stupid - Rossi has 5 premier class WC's. If Stoner ends up with 5 premier class titles than I will go out on a limb and say that makes him better then Rossi because he beat the previous multi world champion where as Rossi never did this. Will you agree that Stoner is the best in 5 or so years time 'IF' Stoner wins 5 WC's?

Like only Yamaha on Bridgestones. Bike is not the best. Someone even said that Bridgestone are giving better tyres to Stoner. As far as comments from Stoner fans: We do not make excuses because Stoner is kicking everyones **** so no need to make excuses. We just spend our whole time trying to call the groupies on their rediculous excuses. Guess what GROUPIES? Rossi hasn't won for 2 ye***** Hasn't lead a test session except when there was only 5 riders and a heap of test riders. How much longer can you hold onto the past!
