Good move, it means that they can allocate funds for other projects. Wayne Gardner deemed the Superbike RSV as the best of them all at a recent multi bike test in Portimao, saying it was actually very close to a GP bike compared to even the R1 (and praising Spies' qualities in the process). Aprilia know how to make a good machine, they are now out of the 250 class (probably one very expensive class to participate in) and can focus on new things. I hope MotoGP! Next step: Build a MotoGP bike with a V4, hire Simoncelli... Go Aprilia!!
