Hi Andre, When it comes to nationalism Italians are even worse than Australians (if possible), seeing an Italian win on a Ducati must be one of their dreams. They have their succes with Ducati now but you wont see all of Italy going gooey over an Australian kid, there's just no connection. Remember only a small percentage speaks English so that's a factor too. I don't think it is going to happen with Valentino in the near future though, he's quite committed to his current project. All the BS the press peel out of him put aside these are professional riders. Honda is professional too. Only if you make a total donkey of yourself like Biaggi did they will ban a rider from riding their bikes.
