MotoGP » POLL: Is Valentino Rossi right to join Ducati?

Does everybody HAVE to like Valentino Rossi ? Personally I have issues with the amount of money paid to Rossi in particular but also the other "aliens". How many more bikes could be on the grid if they capped their salary ? I don't mean personal sponsorship, only the money paid by the manufacturers, ( which would allow Rossi etc to still make a lot of money). From Suzuki's troubles the 6 engine rule doesn't work and the 21 litres of fuel is plain dumb, what does either rule prove ? Running lean to finish a race is counter productive to making an engine last !! Dorna as the overseer of MotoGp need a bomb under them, did anyone else notice how small the field looked at Brno ? Cheers

MotoGP » Phillip Island - Free practice times (1).

If anyone is passing through or going on the GP run from Cranbourne tomorrow be carefull ! There are about 50 ( I kid you not ) CCTV cameras right through town so plod can send you a nice little fine for doing burnouts/mono's etc.. Bloody spoilsports !! The weather forecast is for a cool but dry day tomorrow and to be fine and 21 sunday. Have a great weekend all .

MotoGP » Stoner's surprise pole.

Gardner and Doohan were very raw and firery early in their careers and I know Honda payed for public speaking courses and life coaching for Doohan in particular. I don't know if Ducati are doing the same for Stoner but maybe they should, as Oscar said he's a kid from a small rural Aussie town and seems to rub some people the wrong way, much as Doohan did early on. Cheers.
