Honda seems to have lost the plot in most motorsports categories,In Motogp they dont seem to have their act together with engines ( always their longsuit), a very late start in SBK and forgetable performances in FI. Maybe they are making so much money they dont need motorsport? Cheers.

Milly. What you say is true about Honda and the SP1/Sp2 both being special built Ducati beaters, the same as the RC30 and RC45, all built and sold at a loss to beat Ducati's twins. But ask yourself if you would like to see an all Japanese SBK and the possible loss of Ducati altogether as a manufacturer ? They were on the slide with sales until the 1098 even with Stoner winning in Motogp. Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers.

For all you technical genius's. A 4 cylinder motor will ALWAYS make more HP than an equal capacity twin, F1 use 2.4 litre V8's for a very good reason, when did you last see a 2.4 litre V8 in a road car? Even the Triumph SS bikes are allowed 675 cc against 600 4's. Cheers.

Salty, please reconsider. As an old racer (and I don't consider myself a bighead) I know about the injuries and financial pain, although I never reached the bigtime I had some sucess and I'm proud but modest about my time in racing. PS. I LOVE speedway and am jealous of the poms being able to go to races weekly sadly it has all but died in Victoria except for mildura. Cheers

Troy Bayliss is a Monaco resident as was Mick Doohan until recently. Minimising tax is legal and EVERYONE in business does it,getting stung for tax evasion is usually a ploy by tax inspectors to "even things up". Rossi is no more criminal than any other businessman( which is what he is). Cheers.

I hate to spoil the Rossifest .:) Stoner went nearly half a second faster on race tires at Sepang 2 weeks ago, pre the PI tests and I'm sure he would be faster now. Cheers

I've noticed the same things CA. He usually has a "rest" lap or 2 in most races , that and the slow late gridup would be fuel conservation efforts. I think Shell has developed a special fuel and oils for Ducati that gives some % fuel savings. Horsepower = fuel usage. Cheers.
