Stoner disappears on final day.
My take on Rossi is that he got poor starts in a lot of races in 07 and burned his tires up and couldn't mount a challenge late in the races as he did in the past. That and he probably stressed the motor trying to catch the front runners and blew that up as well ( no other Yamaha racers did ). I honestly cannot see anyone else but Stoner as the Champ this year ( injuries aside) Everyone else has either new bikes, changed tire manufacturers,or changed teams alltogether,Ducati have just refined an already winning bike, Stoner knows the bike, tires and his team. Just my opinion. Cheers.

Phillip Island test times - Friday.
Reporting from PI test ( biased ) With only a few bikes on the track at times you could hear everything and In my opinion Stoner uses TC a lot less than most riders even in the wet. He was lighting up the tire and sliding at different points but on other corners he was as smooth as glass and VERY fast with no audible TC cuts.. The Ducati at 19000 RPM down the main straight was just awesome! I know ,I'm an Aussie and a little biased but Stoner was supreme at his home track. I will try and put up some pics on myspace when I get around to it... Cheers. Cheers

Stoner show continues at Phillip Island.

Just back from PI . I can tell all my anti Stoner/Ducati/traction control friends here that Casey uses LESS TC than just about anyone at PI ( I dont know about other tracks ). On Some corners even Haydens Honda was "stuttering" on exit and the Ducati was just howling with Casey using throttle control to perfection. I know some won't believe this but there were a lot of other knowlegable people there who would back me up. Even Yesterday ( thursday) in the wet he was awesome on throttle control. Cheers.

I dont agree with Nathan at all, but most knowledgable Aussies wouldnt even bother about replying to his juvenile comments, what does that make me ?.. Cheers

Sure Morgue. Here's mine. Stoner, for the Dukes speed and his last race result there. Hayden or Rossi 2nd , they both love the place and are always fast there. Hopkins or Lorenzo for 3rd, the kawasaki has lots of motor and Hoppy is getting faster on it every lap,Lorenzo for his sheer natural ability and the Yamaha seems to like him. Cheers
