I see it like this! In my opinion, he had a good fast car to start with. It was every other teams job to catch up! And other teams have caught up or improved their car big time! Making the job even harder for Button, and he will have to work hard to maintain his points advantage!

@ Alan D Well in an ideal world a team boss would love his drivers to finish 1 and 2 with no incidents with each other, end of the day constructors championship is just as important to the team as a whole, as a world title to one it's drivers, as the constructors title is proven to be a team effort. As drivers title is a drivers effort and of his crew! As long as the racing is good and there is not dirty tricks on track against each team mate. The only team order i do agree with that does go on, is the driver higher up on the starting grid than his team mate gets to choose his own race strategy first! Remember Austria the team call that ruined the race between Barrichello and Schumi.

Too right no team orders! Team orders are ment to be banned anyway! That is what racing is all about, team mates should be allowed to race each other no matter who has the points lead in championship, as long as they don't take each other out and it as long as it is all equal treatment from team! Let them both race and may the best driver win! Whoever that will be?

S H I T or Bust there is nothing wrong in trying (Lorenzo). If Vale wants he can play it safe and follow Lorenzo and wait for him to make another mistake or just be consistant and finish on the podium somewhere every race! I like Both racers but of course i am a Rossi fan!

@ Bridgestone. You hit the nail right on the head there! If suzuki got Rossi and Burgess in then that would motivate the team to build a great bike! plus the with a name Valentino Rossi and having a 46 on a bike with mr Burgess onboard,Think of what sponsers would come in an help towards funds of developing a good bike! Look when Vale joined yamaha for first time, they got a race winning bike and by the end of the season a Championship winning bike! Although Vale had to fight big time for his first win on a Yamaha in his first race for Yamamha1 Good scrap that was with Max vs Vale, good old days!

If only suzuki had a satalite team where they could gernerate some money and even develope their bikes more! Shame Chris is going but he has not had a good season. As it is now, i would have kept Loris in the team as he is on his day a very good proven all round rider. I just hope Chris puts in some inproved results now so he can try and get another ride in the MotoGP pack!

@ michael s. Ferrari should of got Marc Gene to drive for them! He may have been further up the field, as i do rate Marc Gene.

@ max Well i know what you are saying and you are right, but unfortunately there not enough characters in these comments to put a full story on what you can say! And yes Trulli, Fisi, Webber and so a re good drivers! But Piquet being a test driver and getting the seat the team would have known if he was up for the job as it was the team who gave it to him in the first place! If they had their doubts then why leave it this long to get rid of Piquet! Ok He has a father who is 3 times world champ, Damon hill's father was champ aswell, it doesn't always mean like father like son! Piquet has what it takes to be in F1, but everyone wants a good car but that is not always the case! :roll

Piquet is just unlucky with his choice of team he raced for, but as Heikki left for MaClaren he got his seat! Piquet did get a podium last year, and this year with all the rule changes there are different teams heading the championship this season! It is not piquets fault if his car is not the fasted or it my not suit him! He is proven in GP2 that he has what it takes and gave Hamilton a hard time! Look at Hamilton this season he has struggled until late, goes to show you do need a good car to do well in this sport! Shame really, but i do hope that Piquet does get a drive with a team that has a car that suits him! As for first comment on this page about Todt, what a load BS!
