Whitmarsh: Kovalainen needs results to keep seat
I wonder if Robert Kubica will put his name in the hat for Heikki Kovalainen seat if he loses his place in the team?

Todt: FIA bid based on commitment, professionalism.
1 agrees.
Todt would have ok for the job had he not had such a good close relationship with the FIA when he was at Ferrari. So as that is the case, the job should go to someone different and with a nuetral approach that is fair to everyone involved!

Marco Melandri returns to Gresini Honda.
1 agrees.
That is fantastic news! Well done Marco, You deserve a bike that suits you! If only Marco didn't sign for Ducati to race in 2008, i wonder where he would be now in the championship? Good one Marco!

Todt: FIA bid based on commitment, professionalism.
Can anyone on here name some other good candidates for the job?.. Whoever gets the job, must have these qualities: Nuetral, Unbiased, Considerate, Commitment, Fair, No current/past connection with the current teams in F1, Must listen to the teams wants and needs as well as the Fans of the sport!

I am surprised Paul Stoddart has not put his name in the hat for job too! Be interesting if he was in for the running!

Silverstone a 'man’s circuit', one of the fastest.
A mans circuit to ride on maybe?.... But it has to be spectator friendly aswell, unlike Donington there is not that many good vantage points, so i hope Silverston does make the improvements they promissed and make it good for us fans to get close to the action! If not in my opinion it should of stayed at Donington or Gone to Brands Hatch! Only let down with Donington is the car parking and getting out of the damn place afters! Apart from that Donington is old fashioned but hey ho it is still a damn good place for racing and good vantage points!

@ bridgestone. I expect Stoner was ment to say ( he felt he could of gone faster, but didn't want to take any risks?).. Roll on race day!

Toseland runs dry, Edwards follows Lorenzo.
At the most JT can only improve on the result he had last year, providing in the race he does not crash, run out of fuel or just gets unlucky! A finish in the points should be his main target. Lets see what happens poeple!

Stoner works on wet set-up, ends early
Well stoner does have a bike that suits him! And him only! He knows what input to put into it! End of the day, it could be dry race day, so it could be a waste of time working on a wet set up when it could be dry qualify or race day? I hope it is dry, i will be there along with many others, don't want repeat of the weather that we had back in 2005!
