I have just watched a re-run of Cataluña. When Stoner was chasing Rossi, according to the telemetry on screen, Stoner was getting straight on to full throttle about 2 seconds before Rossi (and he was behind Rossi) and even then Rossi was only feeding the gas in. Stoner definately relies on the TC more than most. This is not a slur, just an observation (He is the best at using the current technology (look at Melandri etc)). I don't like the electronics but they are here to stay IMO.

This will be intreresting. For years now the AMA superbike has been ruled by a virtual Suzuki Monopoly but in other superbike championship the GSXR1000 has not been dominant (certainly not every week). So is Ben Spies (and Mladin) really that good is AMA really that bad? I guess this will go some way to answering the question. 10th or 11th will be a good result I reckon.
