Reno you read it 1 way and i read it another. It would have been no different if ron had been talking about Alonso. They were both going for the championship so alonso and hamilton had to race each other, do you think massa and kimi would not race each other if there were both in with a chance of winning the championship. Alonso was Hamilton's closes rival at the time so ron is going to say he was racing him and the same would have been said for alonso. Why do you believe what you want rather than think it through? You need both drivers to race each other or you might as well just have 22 teams with 1 car each.

Reno You make it sound like Mclaren are only going to be behind Lewis and i disagree. I read the Mclaren statement as they are going to be behind Lewis 100% but there is no mention of not being 100% behind Heiki. Why should a team give preferential treatment to a world champion, it should be up to the drivers to beat there team mates? Preferential treatment should be given to the faster driver or if they are the same they should get the same treatment which is what i believe happened at Mclaren last year. If kimi is way ahead of massa this year then kimi will get more backing but if massa is up with him i believe they will both get the same treatment.

Savas well said. Someone on here that talks FACT not FICTION. Lewis want's to be the best driver of all time (the same wish as the rest of the drivers out there). Shuie and ferrari are the only combination that has the same ingredients as lewis and mclaren (the driver love the team as much as the team love they driver). Most of the drivers don't care for who they drive for so long as have a good chance of winning. Lewis is like a son of Mclaren like shuie was of ferrari. Kimi is a great driver but he will never have the money or respect shuie got at ferrari.
