Raikkonen 'not the driver Ferrari needs'.
1 agrees.
truefan (not) Read the real facts. Santander will sponsor Ferrari if Alonslow goes there but they have also said that with the amount of interest in Hamilton at the mo they are still going to sponsor Mclaren using the uk Abbey name (part of the Santander group).

Alonso poised for Honda F1 move in 2009.
Brendan what was clear to see yesterday. From the race I saw yesterday Glock in the Toyota was well clear of Alonso and Alonso was holding Kimi up at over a second a lap. Renault have the same trouble as Mclaren they are good at warming the tyres quickly (hence they are good in qualifying) but they loose race pace because of it. Ferrari are slow at warming tyres but they have better race pace.

'Only one' driver reckons McLaren not equal.
2 agree.
1 disagrees.
He might have a favourite driver but none of the other drivers have said they didn't have the same equipment at there disposal. Please feel free to send me a link to a site saying otherwise. I like being proven wrong. Links only please.

Raikkonen: Hungarian GP 'frustrating and boring'.
1 agrees.
It was frustrating and boring for the true race fan as well. How can Bernie justify extending this race to 2016 when you can't overtake on it. He gets rid of tracks like Silverstone that drivers love and also offers overtaking. We all think the loss was for Massa and Hamilton but the real loosers this weekend are the real fans that have to watch this boring race for years to come.

Ferrari admits McLaren still have upper hand.
Bernie I am going to say it once more and if you don't get it this time go and get somebody to help you with any big words. All they have done is changed from using a knob on the steering wheel to a pedal shift to change to a different setting. All the other cars can still adjust the car to a new setting but they all still use the knob on the steering wheel. So on the Mclaren they can change from 1 setting to another while changing gear at the same time, The only difference is instead of turning a knob they pull a leaver. If this is not common sense then why are all the other teams not changing gear by turning a knob. It is all down to the time it takes.

Bernie please feel free to prove me wrong. Give me some details on how the system works or send me a link to a site that states how it works. Don't panic most of the teams now know what they have done and realise it is a simple idea and I know for a fact BMW will be using the same idea after the summer break. I look forward to your info backed up by facts and not just what your mate said down the pub.

Bernie i think it is your brain that has gone on holiday mate there is no traction control on the mclaren just a paddle shift to change settings instead of a knob on the steering wheel. Please find out more about the system before opening gob.

McLaren confirm Kovalainen F1 deal for '09.
1 disagrees.
Yogi bear if it was traction control then it would not be allowed in the first place. All they have done is changed from having a knob on the steering wheel for adjusting setting to having it on a paddle shift. Easy idea really, can you imagine the drivers changing gear by a knob on the steering wheel. So now the drivers can change to a different setting so quick on a paddle shift that they can use it at the same time as changing gear. Please know the facts about the system before engaging your 1 typing finger.

Ferrari 'not in crisis', claims Domenicali.
1 agrees.
another for behind the safety car, and the list goes on. They even have the one for the last laps of the race if they can take it easy. What is the difference in a driver selecting a setting every lap or just selecting it at different times of the race. If all the teams know they can do this then what was stopping them developing the same thing as Mclaren. You are only moaning because Mclaren developed a system that works first. If I am wrong please send me a link to a web site that states the FIA are looking into the Mclaren system.
