McLaren delighted with 'fantastic' Heikki.
1 agrees.
James the Mclaren's are renowned to only having a couple of laps difference of fuel. Mclaren and Hamilton both said they called him in early for the first stop as he had a big gap and didn't want to loose that if a safety car can out. This clarify's that both LH and HK had roughly the same amount of fuel. On the second stops they wanted HK to do 1 more lap to give him more room over NH. This didn't work out as the safety car come out , you can't guarantee when the safety car is going to come out.

Battling Alonso lucks in as Piquet lucks out.
chu chu rubens had the 8th fastest car on the grid and he was ahead of alonso for 90% of the race. He must have taken more risks.

If I was Alonso I would have been more worried about his and Renaults pace, after all he did spend 90% of the grand prix trailing a Honda and a old Toro Rosso.

Massa laments 'horrible' start to season.
Richard 3 Ferrari engines have gone pop nothing to do with electrical faults. If you had looked on the fia web site when they passed that Microsoft was making the ECU the fia stated that all units would be checked and sealed by an independent part named by the fia. But I do agree with you that I thought DC was in the wrong and should have left Massa enough room if he had seen him.

Race result - Australian Grand Prix [revised].

.Reno you are a bad looser and even worse at trying to cover it up. You don't admit it but you are a Alonso fan. Why shouldn't Ron look happy he was going to be happy with whoever his drivers passed. What you have to remember is that if no cars had dropped out Lewis would still have been in the top 4 Alonso on the other hand only got there because of others dropping out. Just be honest. Ron is going to have the last laugh and as you say and stick it up Alonso because Alonso has gone to a team that will not get close to the Mclaren's or Ferraris for the rest of the year. Don't tell me Alonso is happy at Renault as no competitive driver should be happy stuck in the mid field

Agro he got points on count back being Rubens was disqualified (the rules have been the same for years). Richard nobody is crowning Hamilton as we all know the Ferraris will be back at the next race but they didn't both go out with the same fault, also how can you say Lewis was lucky he put himself in that posisiton yesterday as that is what qualifying is for. He was no more lucky than any other driver that finished. They were all lucky not to get taken out or have problems.

Starting line-up - Australian Grand Prix.

Well said Rossicorp. Half the people who buy Ferrari stuff don't follow F1. I can remember being at a Jordan stand at the French gp and the girl next to me said she wanted a bmw williams cap because it looked better.

McLaren fires disgraced designer.
3 agree.
3 disagree.
It is only now that Mclaren have got the proof they need from the FIA to sack him. If they had sacked him and he was found not guilty then Mclaren could have been clobbered for another large sum of money) unfair dismissal. We have had the same problem within our firm (hands in the till so to speak) and it is only now that it has been proven in court that the firm can fire the person in question without having further come backs.

Alonso could realy do with that 6 tenths of a second that he said he brought to Mclaren last year.
