What a refreshing artical by Guintoli. Blah blah and damo make some very valid points. I am sure guys, if it had not been Rossi getting beaten by a huge margin in 2007, we would not be seeing so much negativity from the Rossi fans. I am not a Stoner fan, I never have been but I can admit he is a huge talent and even though he has only won 1 world premier class title, it is one more than 99.9999999999999999999999999% of people will ever win.
There is no doubt that Rossi is one of the all time greats, but it seems to be the die hard Rossi fans cant see beyond the rose coloured glasses they wear.
Stoner is one of the greats now with a world championship, maybe not a Rossi, but who cares.

Stoner 'up for the fight'.
Nice to see all the avid Rugby fans coming out from England. Still are they the current world rugby champions? I thought it was South Africa? How about the 1 day cricket world champions, or the Rugby League world champions. Shall we compare the medal tally of the Olympics? Still we have not won the Dart's world championship.
Oh and Ash, thats right VR did fall off at Assen, and I believe without that result from him, that chances of Stoner being in with a chance this year were next to nothing. Still without Stoner's 2 poor results, maybe he would be leading the championship. Who knows seems both riders have had poor results this year.

Bitter_doctor Another "aussie phrase" is "whinging pom" I learnt this phase after the last ashes series, where they were coming down under to teach us a lesson.
I guess you could also throw a phrase like "sore losers" into the mix as well.
Still you would think they would become numb with pain, after all these years of defeats and 1 world cup win. Pity they cant back anything up.

Magnetti, Then again Stoner has been written off since round 2 this year. Last 2 rounds we have heard they were favored tracks by the 5 times 500/Motogp world champion and look at the results. As for your 3rd choice. Which Ducati/Microsoft do you think will win? There are 4 such bikes in the field. It would have to be Melandri as he was a 250cc world champion, and Stoner has won SFA
Maybe you could be a little more specific. I also understand that the Yamaha is using SP2 where the Ducati is on SP1.

Belly is rights about the getting his hands dirty comments, it is an expression used in Australia and mis-quoted the the english media. Still lets hope that Stoner, Rossi and Pedrosa are all up for the fight. With 30 odd points between the 3 riders in the championship. It looks as if it any of the 3 could win the championship and make for a **** hot season. Maybe the closest title battle we have seen in quite a few years, with all 3 riders with race wins and good chancing of winning races for the rest of the season, in place of being consistant and not winning races as we have seen in the past.

Rossi: I've made my mistake.

Hey Chris What is Stoners job? To get dressed up in a red wig, with a red nose and make everyone happy? Naw I think his job, along with Ducati and Bridgestone is to go out and win race and try and win the championship. They are not there you make you feel all warm and happy. Maybe you should find a woman? You say WSBK is more interesting, do you think the riders have more personality? Is that one of the reasons you prefer that series? How about Troy Corser, what a fun guy
If the WBSK bikes are that much harder to ride over the GP bikes, why are we not seeing the WBSK riders coming across and blitzing the field?

Grand Prix Commission accepts 600GP.
WSBK is the better of the 2 classes, good to see you support WBSK. I have to wonder why people call it the Ducati cup? Mate If it is so much better and GP is buggered, then go and support WBSK and stop watching MotoGP, it's pretty easy, hey? Oh and I think if you can make it into MotoGP, WSBK or even the local national series, you are a very much above average rider and can ride without TC. Hey I am a rider who clocked up 23,000 k's so far this year, my bike does not have TC, think I should get off the road because I don't have the right skills?

Stoner delighted with Assen pole.
Great Laddie, I went to school in Sydney as well amazing, which school did you go to? come on give me some details. Don't worry about giving me your name. So when Mick was blitzing the field, and he did it very well, 500cc racing was great hey, not a boring spectacle its now with Stoner? Thinking back to the 90’s there was no who really came close to Mick, Dazz had a good hard go, but after he lost his toes he was never the same. Really looking at this year we have 4 different race winners, that would be better than the Doohan era hey?

Queensland hey, Good for you, I have heard that Queensland is 20 years behind the rest of Australia, so that explains your writing style. It still has a teenage SMS feel to it. Toads or Roaches, Laddie? Now again were you happy to watch Mick Doohan blow everyone to the weeds in the 90's? Hey Toads or Roaches, what do you think laddie?

Lad what school did you go too? I don't see many 43 year old men write like you do. If you are Australian, you make the public education system look very poor. This kind of writing I see from my teenage girls when they SMS their friends.

You have not answered my comments on Mick Doohan yet? How about WBSK they going to be great as well, no TC and electronics to ruin the sport hey?
