MotoGP » Moto3 ECU supplier named

I can't believe some folks still fall for this four stroke crap, the cost to develop them has driven manufacturers away, not brought them back...two stroke is the future guys, powerful / cheap / cleaner day by day..have a look at some of lotus car engine projects, if the car industry is looking then why not bikes anymore ?? Answer is they were all retooled to four stroke and want more and more payback on their investments...more and more naive it appears given the equal progression with electronic 'solutions'.. foolish !!

F1 » Raikkonen gets approval for NASCAR debut

Gillett would be pushing for this...he only plays with the big names lest anyone forget his miserable input to Liverpool F.C...a few NHL, NBA, Major League Soccer teams...ANYTHING that can be franchised in fact, how about a fat slice of Iceman inc, the red neck brigade will love Kimi but he should make sure you don't sign on the dotted line until you get Gillett to jump through could gain a few quid but only giving something up for this guy..if it all goes wrong, far more importantly is you could lose a lot lot more than just a race drive here Kimi..

F1 » Heidfeld: I have more input at Renault than I've had elsewhere

I'm on Nick's side here, I just hope he can have a season that he promised at the start of his career ..nice to see him win, why wouldn't anyone want to see that ?? Make registering compulsive here..getting awful tired of the relentless BS from the unregistered brigade least throw the registered posters to the top of the replies lists so the likes of me doesn't have to endure their incessant BS .. only one in ten is worth reading !!!!

MotoGP » 1000cc set for Mugello test debut

Yes, Jerry Burgess has been quite vocal as regards the '600cc formula' and how much easier it'd be to progress from one to's the natural capacity now as so many experience it all different levels. I guess the only issue would be at motogp level as they're already struggling with effective 'grunt'and no amount of fettling can create more in the way of this..they'd be a tad gutless even in comparison to the 800's that folk even now complain of...but, if it's there for all and experience is not like it is presently as very few can say they've ridden anything like the latest 800cc gp bikes. I guess the term '250 style of rider' would still apply in terms of keeping momentum through the corners..I'm sorry but I miss the 990's and anything bringing back something remotely reminiscent of Stoner et al sliding it out of corners is something that can only woo furture spectators..alas, modern electronics will put paid to that :(

F1 » Sir Jackie Stewart taken ill on flight from Geneva

Worthy of a quick mention, a brief blog entry 'perhaps' by one of the crew members made mention that there was a very real fear of something quite serious: ''a well known former 'sort of sportsman' ( as it's written in the email received ) today... had what was initially feared a stroke..... he quickly appeared to recover however....' If at all true, I do hope this is something for which he'll have no future adverse side effects.

WSBK » Yamaha pulls wraps off 2011 R1

Well, it can't be worse than last years bike fresh out of the crate can it...I really hope it's got a good base set up installed, ready to Marco will be on a downward spiral if he starts off complaining about that front end..fortunately he can rely on his 250 days if it has similar traction problems coming out of the corners...the bike / engine they originally said was nothing other than ultra smooth, let's see if it lives up to that and if they've cracked its issues this year.
