It would appear that there are no favoured sons at Honda these days, only Pedrosa.. I must admit to hoping that 'the Dov' would get something a little more than a sat spec RCV this year. After all his campaigning on, basically, an HRC 03\04 spec 250 with a few add ons each year he rode it...I'm not saying he'd have seen off Lorenzo but he certainly kept up with him 90% of the time and, if the Dov had've jumped ship to Aprilia, the other 10% may have brought him success. He's a class act for sure.

Repsol Honda receives 2007 bikes!
2 agree.
1 disagrees.
Why do Honda stick with the most important aspect of the 800cc motogpg machines, the electronics.Only themselves and,I believe,Suzuki don't run magnetti marelli managemnt systems.I wonder if the satellite spec teams are allowed,or indeed can manipulate\change,the standard Honda management kit from scratch.I'd doubt it as the perameters are too ranging and I also doubt there is a 'standard' magnetti unit that Honda would allow near its own ( they are leased to the teams after all and never owned ) but surely the factory could back down its policy of only running with all Honda owned comps showa suspension,FCCtec sports cluctches etc.Only Brembo not Honda owned so try MagMar units?

Lorenzo: As good as I hoped...
2 agree.
I remember Ralf Waldmans tyres, mainly dunlops and mainly in 250 class admittedly, were like putty...Lorenzo will need michelin to supply him with some similarly soft race tyres indeed but he'll qualify well in the dry, sure.

Breaks not good for Biaggi.
2 agree.
3 disagree.
Assuming he has a broken wrist, Biaggi's 1098 may go backwards development wise, in comparison to the factory 1098's, from now until he next races it. It's now apparent that he needed to keep up with Bayliss as long as he could and hope the 'unfortunate incidents' went the Bayliss way.. I've no doubt the Xerox Ducati's will now just ease away from all the customer kits, although it's easy to see that the 'inline four brigade' will be demanding, if not already staged, that the 'equivilency value' is maintained with a few more kilos added to those twins. As such, Max's 1098 could be a relatively different beast, come his next race, if he's away for a couple.

Williams: McLaren made 'majestic' offer.
1 disagrees.
Yes 'Demon' it is somewhat a shame that they couldn't be compared in the same car and at 'similar' episodes of their careers, it's almost akin to keeping your stock options on an even keel. Then again, it pretty much amounts to the same thing it would appear.

McLaren backs Dennis, denies sack rumours.
4 agree.
1 disagrees.
Divorced he may well soon be and two national police forces knock his door of its hinges but someone thought they''d go for a complete rout of Dennis''s character.. which begs the question ''which genius came up with McLaren ( read Dennis ) sacks Dennis ??''
