F1 » Six of the Best: Possible future F1 circuits

Come on guys, everyone knows that F1 is a Tilke franchise !! Of the 20 circuits on the F1 calendar, Tilke has worked on 13 of them...9 of them from scratch Malaysia, China, Bahrain, Valencia, Singapore, Korea, India, Abu Dhabi and Austin... and radically overhauled 4 others, Catalunya, Silverstone, Hockenheim and Monza...if it's not on the calendar already, your only chance of approval is spending a GREAT fortune employing him to hmmmm, improve a track...only then will it be considered !

MotoGP » PIC: Hernandez makes 'Open' class Ducati debut

Just a thought... The Open class is designed to get private teams closer to the factory teams and create better racing...but if that privateer team is already a factory team, ok a junior factory team, then what's to stop them tweaking engines to get more power and torque lower down the revs and let the electronics do the rest, as much as possible anyway and that way placate the rev ceiling on any control ECU...remember the claiming rules are now gone and there's no chance of a manufacturer losing their technology for 20K Euro...they've loads of engines to play with and they might even throw a world champion on such a private bike ?

MotoGP » Martin Raines (MotoGP stats) - Q&A

Raines always makes sense to me, thanks for a great article ! Anyone that takes the trouble to dismiss Rossi's talents, and achievements, is just plain delusional...these are the people that find fault with anything and anyone, they spew out all manner of nonsense to justify their sentiments, but say it simply because they get the desired reaction in forum such as this...there is a 'technical' term for this, and there's really not a lot else you can say...

MotoGP » Randy de Puniet to test with PBM

I wish you lot would give the TEAM a break, why can't you see beyond 'big mouth himself' that they are far more than Paul Bird alone, and certainly worthy of supporting...this British bike is worth developing, and all the more so with some 'serious' Aprilia engine input. If they can get their electronics sorted, and achieve some serious power output, this bike could win Open class races next season...
