WSBK » Elias: I want to stay in World Superbikes

Elias would be a credit to WSBK, he can excel on any machine that takes his fancy. That is the point, his head goes down when all is not what it could and should be, but he certainly seemed more than happy on that 'second string' RSV4. Remembering that he's barely 30yrs old, has beaten the very best at the very highest levels, it'd be great to see him on something that he's really happy to rag around the worlds best circuits...I'm up for watching it, that's for sure :)

MotoGP » Laverty hoping to finalise 2014 plans

I'm wondering if EL would even be thinking about a motogp ride even a couple of months ago. comments have been made re: RSV4 being the same, similar bike to ART...fundamentally it is, but we all know that the biggest difference are the tyres and that makes them entirely different beasts. It's the tyres that effectively 'kill' many a SBK riders dreams when undertaking the challenge of prototype racing. Not sure the pramac Ducati would really help his career, IF Spies is getting full factory support, as he claims for next year, they surely cannot run anything beyond a sat spec desmosedici for EL. This really is not an ideal scenario, a career make or break decision...for that reason alone I hope he takes the WSBK crown and then stuffs it up Aprilia's nether regions !!!!

MotoGP » Damian Cudlin gets PBM ride for Aragon

Considering it's got the lowest spec of Aprilia motor, and electronics...has an in house designed and built from scratch non FTR chassis that has characteristics shared with no other on the grid..forget the fact that the Bridgestone's will work in a unique way on this bike, therefore no data sharing there either . SO, for 'easily the worst bike on the grid', I'd say 'dacron' is all but writing off this whole new episode of rider and bike before it's started...sheesh, you guys should be over the moon as this is a unique opportunity to shine OR, maybe this is just the patter that is letting us all know that this guy is 'perhaps' a touch out of his class...and yes, I've seen him race a fair few times, I also remember the Aspar Ducati. Yes, I know, that was complete TAT also :)

MotoGP » Davide Brivio (Suzuki MotoGP) - Q&A

I'm afraid the times mean nothing given the Suzuki is GULPING fuel presently, Brivio made mention of the fact, 'fuel is an issue'... What really grates me is the fact that Suzuki STILL messed about with that Mitsubishi ECU, in fact they're still using it, when they knew the MM control unit was due in 2014, even Denning mentioned that they 'should have had the ( far more expensive, refined ) Magneti Marelli ECU, but it's too late to install', at the start of 2011 season ! I really admire Suzuki, but they just make me mad 'going their own way'...just for the hell of it...

MotoGP » BT MotoGP deal to be announced on Thursday?

Some 'American style' pay per view media junky has worked his way round any and all sporting body that would cut a deal, now both he and DORNA have their greedy eyes set on motogp... I can only say that I currently wait an hour for Eurosports delayed motogp coverage ( like many thousand of others do as a preference over the BBC's offering ) Who cares which TART wishes to shout about their live broadcast deal, DORNA dare not cut all ties with Eurosport as their fan base IS motogp within Europe !
