FIA Statement: Formula 1 2009
"Overtaking to be banned next season because its too dangerous"
BLOODY DISGUSTING! terrible decision by the stewards, what advantage did he gain for goodness sake? i hope mclaren appeal and win for the sake of F1! i just knew that this would happen, it deters the drivers from trying. you never would have had senna penalised for such things.
has completely ruined one of the most entertaining races of the year.

Massa: Shorter grands prix key to F1 excitement
i agree that often races feel too short now, bring back the whole two hours. and half an article here by crash... ----- "I have some ideas - that maybe the races could be slightly shorter, because in the last 15 laps nobody cares about the race anymore" "That Friday is not so important for the show, so you can use the Saturday morning, and take away the Friday, and do two, three or four (test) sessions during the season, not together, separated, making a testing championship. "Maybe the winner has a bonus for the championship, or whatever you want to give." ----- so replace 'boring' 15 laps with a more boring hour and half of driving. he didnt think this through did he!

A new look for Crash!
really nice new website, but the reason i use crash.net is that it provides stories from all motorsports. so not very impressed with just F1 and motoGP at the top, you should move the car and bike sections up and let members choosed individual ones they want on their own sections at the bottom.

The Stig outed?
6 agree.
1 disagrees.
ive had word of him for a while, so old news surely, but why is it better that the general population know who the stig is? the appeal of the stig is his unknown identity, so once again the media get involved and mess it all up...

Toyota 'stronger than ever', 'ready to win'.
well, it certainly isnt pretty like all the new F1 cars are gonna be, although in the end we shall no doubt get used to them, but it is satisfying seeing those slick tyres

Axe to fall on poorly-attended Chinese GP?
1 agrees.
this is what happens when you build a circuit in the middle of no-where. low crowds: i noticed how the stands on the corner leading onto the long straight were not used in this years F1. personnally speaking from watching f1, motogp and a1gp there, i think its a rubbish track, i cant really think why, but the thing that makes it any decent is it seems to rain a lot
istanbul next? lots of empty grandstands there each year.

when toyota dropped gascoyne after 2005 look what happened to them. i think FIF1 will regret that move.
