i too just watched the nascar race, and watched the F1 at the weekend, and the nascar race was much more entertaining. stuff actually happens in the NASCAR racing on the track. whereas it was pretty obviuos it was a ferrari win coming in the F1. yet, despite that, im still more a F1 fan, and will continue to be, but since the NASCAR came onto sky sports here, ive got much more interested.

Not sure I agree with that. The cost should be a set amount for all drivers. I dunno, 10k or something. i really dont understand, why does the previous years world champion have to pay so much more than someone who (perhaps) chashes each week and doesnt score one point, surely the crashing person should have to prove they deserve the superlicence more than the world champion. just to put the pricing in perspective, Kimi Raikkonens super licence is aproximately €230,000 (£171,352) and Adrian Sutils was €12,000 (£8,942). nothing against sutil, but i just dont understand why KR should pay €218,000 more. seems unfair to me. let alone the price hike, KR's fee went up from €31,365 for the 2007 season to what ive written above for 08.

having watched the clip again on you tube (searched: "alonso Heidfeld Monaco") he does overtake piquet, a honda and a williams on the inside. however if this was on lap 13, how come he wasnt given a drive thru penalty during the next 65 laps rather than a 25 second pen after the race, but i thought the FIA etc wanted to remove the idea where the result is changed post race as much as possible?
