FIA Statement: Formula 1 2009
"Overtaking to be banned next season because its too dangerous"

BLOODY DISGUSTING! terrible decision by the stewards, what advantage did he gain for goodness sake? i hope mclaren appeal and win for the sake of F1! i just knew that this would happen, it deters the drivers from trying. you never would have had senna penalised for such things.

has completely ruined one of the most entertaining races of the year.

a valencia/barcelona gp alternation maybe. although ive had enough of the always uneventful Barcelona, typically the dullest race on the calendar each year (atmosphere not included) ;) .

amazes me how he thinks he can continue, he has too leave due too this. ok, it was a personal thing, and weve all done personal things, but EVERYONE knows about this, so even if it wasnt him, which i doubt very much, its his reputation that has been heavily tarnished, he has got to go!!!

...look at istanbul however, so many stands, but you look at even the F1 races there, during the race, there are so many empty seats, ok, theres a lot of seats to fill, but still.

Munro, ok a lot of people say how busy Bahrain is when your there. but the thing is, you cant see it. when they go racing at Silverstone or budapest say, on the TV you see the crowds, (the majority of the motorsport fan base viewing via TV) but when they race at sakhir outside the obvious main grand stand, theres no one, except maybe a marshall or two. and so it appears emptier. Qatar is worse for the motoGP, the quite small stand (singular) often doesnt look full as bikes race by but when they zoom in to the stand there are less empty seat. But no one outside of that stand for the reasons you said, makes the circuit look dull and lifeless and the vast expances of runoff dont help...

terrible idea, hope it doesnt come to fruition. always looks lifeless on TV being stuck in the middle of nowhere worse than Bahrain. and the layout seems terrible for cars, (good for bikes). remember that grand prix masters race there. no? thats no suprise, lol.
